The department of justice deals with criminal, not constitutional law. They've sent some 200 people over to Iraq to try and reconstruct Iraq's criminal system (but somehow fail to prosecute interrogators with probable cause of abuse), but I'm quite sure that they have no say in deciding what's constitutional and what's not (correct me if I'm wrong).

^^^^You get confirmation on that, you're right. But what SADLK might be saying reflects what you just said: that the DOJ minions don't prosecute interrogators and "law enforcement" for their human rights abuses. Just because Iraqis aren't technically within the jurisdiction of the U.S. Constitution doesn't mean that they should be deprived of their basic Miranda rights, Fifth Amendment rights (whatever the Iraqi equivalent may be), and so on. It's your basic human rights vs. legal rights issue. If the American law enforcement representatives over there believe in the U.S. Constitution, why are they outright ignoring it in Iraq?

This is all news to me. All of the sites I went on to get info said the only difference was the megapixels and that the pictures were not as good because "they have once again put to many mp on a small sensor" Where did you see the photos and did they compare the sx20 to the hx1? Thanks so much.
