"Several Korean youths who knew Cho Seung Hui from his high school days said he was a fan of violent video games, particularly a game called "Counterstrike," a hugely popular online game in which players join terrorism or counterterrorism groups and try to shoot each other using all types of guns," reports Newsmax citing the Washington Post.
"In December 2005 -- more than a year before Monday's mass shootings -- a district court in Montgomery County, Va., ruled that Cho presented "an imminent danger to self or others." That was the necessary criterion for a detention order, so that Cho, who had been accused of stalking by two female schoolmates, could be evaluated by a state doctor and ordered to undergo outpatient care," reports ABC News, " but despite the court identifying the future killer as a risk, they let him go.

Investigators believe that Cho Seung Hui, the Virginia Tech murderer, had been taking anti-depressant medication at some point before the shootings, according to The Chicago Tribune.

Columbine shooters Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, as well as 15-year-old Kip Kinkel, the Oregon killer who gunned down his parents and classmates, were all on psychotropic drugs. Scientific studies proving that prozac encourages suicidal tendencies in young people are voluminous and span back nearly a decade.

Jeff Weise, the Red Lake High School killer was on prozac, "Unabomber" Ted Kaczinski, Michael McDermott, John Hinckley, Jr., Byran Uyesugi, Mark David Chapman and Charles Carl Roberts IV, the Amish school killer, were all on SSRI psychotropic drugs.

Since these deadly drugs are prevalent in almost all mass shooting incidents, where is the call to ban prozac? Why is the knee-jerk reaction always to attack the 2nd Amendment rights of Americans to self-defense, a right that was exercised in January 2002 when students subdued a shooter at another Virginia university before he could kill more than three people because they were allowed guns on campus?

Why are the deeper reasons behind what motivates young men to kill pushed aside while control freaks demand that law-abiding citizens be disarmed of the only thing that can protect them from such madmen?

Questions about the sequence of events on Monday, VA Tech, as well as the profile of the killer are arousing increased suspicion.

We have been receiving numerous calls and e mails alerting us to the fact that VA Tech is pulling links from its website concerning their relationship with the CIA. Reports from November 2005 confirm that the CIA was active in operating recruitment programs based out of VA Tech. Several professors from VA Tech are involved in government programs linked with NASA and other agencies.

Wikipedia also pulled a bizarre recently taken photograph of Cho wearing a U.S. Marines uniform.

Such details only fan the flames of accusations that Cho could have been a Manchurian Candidate, a mind-controlled assassin.

The CIA's program to create mind-controlled assassins that could be triggered by code words, MK ULTRA, is not a conspiracy theory, it's a historical fact documented by declassified government files and Senate hearings. President Bill Clinton himself had to apologize for the program before he left office.

On the Senate floor in 1977, Senator Ted Kennedy said, "The Deputy Director of the CIA revealed that over thirty universities and institutions were involved in an 'extensive testing and experimentation' program which included covert drug tests on unwitting citizens 'at all social levels, high and low, native Americans and foreign."

One such victim of these experiments was Cathy O'Brien, who immediately after the shootings re-iterated the revelations in her latest book, that Blacksburg Virginia is a central location for mind control programs that are still ongoing today.

CIA mind control programs can be tracked back to the 1950's and Project BLUEBIRD, later renamed ARTICHOKE. From blogger Kurt Nimmo;

“BLUEBIRD was approved by the CIA director on April 20, 1950. In August 1951, the Project was renamed ARTICHOKE. BLUEBIRD and ARTICHOKE included a great deal of work on the creation of amnesia, hypnotic couriers, and the Manchurian Candidate,” writes Colin A. Ross, MD. “ARTICHOKE documents prove that hypnotic couriers functioned effectively in real-life simulations conducted by the CIA in the early 1950’s. The degree to which such individuals were used in actual operations is still classified…. BLUEBIRD and ARTICHOKE were administered in a compartmented fashion. The details of the programs were kept secret even form other personnel within the CIA…. The BLUEBIRD/ARTICHOKE materials establish conclusively that full Manchurian Candidates were created and tested successfully by physicians with TOP SECRET clearance from the CIA…. As well as being potential couriers and infiltration agents, the subjects could function in effect as hypnotically controlled cameras. They could enter a room or building, memorize materials quickly, leave the building, and then be amnesic for the entire episode. The memorized material could then be retrieved by a handler using a previously implanted code or signal, without the amnesia being disturbed. Hypnosis was not the mind control doctors’ only method for creation of controlled amnesia, however. Drugs, magnetic fields, sound waves, sleep deprivation, solitary confinement, and many other methods were studied under BLUEBIRD and ARTHICHOKE.”
Researchers into supposed "lone nut" assassinations time and time again run across evidence pointing to CIA mind control experimentation. The best example is Sirhan Sirhan, Bobby Kennedy's assassin. Sirhan was found to be in a completely trance-like state after pulling the trigger and couldn't even remember shooting Kennedy when asked about the incident days later. Sirhan's lawyer, Lawrence Teeter, has presented convincing evidence that Sirhan was under mind control.

Either way you cut it, Seung-Hui Cho was a victim of brainwashing and mind control. The right questions are not being asked and the finger of blame is being pointed in the wrong direction, ensuring that another tragedy like the VA Tech Massacre is almost guaranteed.

VT professor told law firm second building was under lockdown 18 Jun 2008 A Virginia Tech professor contacted a law firm representing some of the families who lost loved ones in the April 16th massacre and said a second building was under lock down after the first set of shootings in West Ambler Johnston Hall. Attorney Douglas Fierberg, one of the attorneys representing more than one dozen families, said the professor would have testified under oath he dropped his wife off for work on Tech’s campus the morning of April 16, 2007 around 8 AM. Fierberg said the professor would have testified his wife told him her building was under lock down... Fierberg said the operator transferred the professor to Tech’s Office of University Relations, where whomever took the call told the professor the rumor "must be a joke," and "if anyone would know about a shooting, we would know first."

Feds Probing Va. Tech Copycat Case 04 Apr 2008 A 20-year-old with a weapons cache that included AK-47s was arrested Friday in South Florida on federal charges of threatening to re-enact the Virginia Tech massacre, the U.S. attorney's office said. Local authorities had arrested Calin Chi Wong at his home last week after finding 13 firearms and more than 5,000 rounds of ammunition, some that could pierce armor, and bullets that could take down aircraft or military machinery. But the suspect's brother told The Associated Press that Wong "doesn't even know how to use a gun."

Panel: Va. Tech Failed to Respond to Cho Warning Signs 30 Aug 2007 The long-awaited report of the Virginia Tech Review Panel contains a wealth of new details about the life of Seung Hui Cho, the troubled 23-year-old senior who murdered 32 students and faculty before turning a gun on himself.

Virginia Tech Criticized for Actions in Shooting 30 Aug 2007 A state panel has sharply criticized decisions made by Virginia Tech before and after last April’s shooting massacre, saying university officials could have saved lives by notifying students and faculty members earlier about the killings on campus.

Lawyer Who Directed Sept. 11 Compensation to Oversee Virginia Tech Program 05 Jul 2007 Kenneth R. Feinberg, the Washington lawyer who directed the federal program to compensate relatives of victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, will oversee the distribution of the $7 million that has been donated to Virginia Tech after the April campus massacre, university officials said Thursday. In November 2001, Mr. Feinberg was appointed special master of the Sept. 11 Victim Compensation Fund by then-Attorney General John Ashcroft.

Va. Tech panel gets Cho's mental records 14 Jun 2007 Relatives of the student gunman who killed 32 people on the Virginia Tech campus turned over his mental health records to a gubernatorial panel investigating the shootings, the panel's chairman said Thursday. Federal privacy laws governing health and student information had prevented the panel from reviewing Seung-Hui Cho's records. Panel Chairman W. Gerald Massengill had said he would go to court if necessary to obtain them.

Campus killers' hints ignored 13 Jun 2007 About once every year, a campus murder is committed after administrators take insufficient action despite warnings about threats, flawed security or dangerous situations, a USA TODAY analysis of college homicides since 1991 shows. In at least 15 of the cases reviewed, the campus killer [black ops hireling] showed signs of being a danger, often with either a criminal or psychotic background, or by making violent threats. The massacre of 32 at Virginia Tech in April, like those other 15 cases, fits a pattern of killings committed by isolated, vengeful students who turn homicidal with shocking brutality.

Va. Tech Families Demand Role on Panel 11 Jun 2007 Relatives of the Virginia Tech shooting victims demanded representation Monday on a gubernatorial panel studying the killings, saying in a letter that they feel "ostracized." They also questioned the status of a memorial fund that has generated millions of dollars to honor the 32 victims of the student gunman.

Va. Investigator Threatens Court Fight 23 May 2007 The panel studying last month's massacre at Virginia Tech will go to court if necessary to get gunman Seung-Hui Cho's medical and mental health records, the group's chairman said Tuesday.

Panel receives details, roadblock 21 May 2007 Seung-Hui Cho did not fire half of his ammunition before taking his own life on April 16, Virginia State Police Superintendent, Steven Flaherty, said to the state panel Monday. Police have found 174 used cartridge casings from both a 9 MM handgun and a .22 caliber handgun. Police also recovered 203 live rounds of ammunition... Earlier in the Monday’s testimony, the panel met a roadblock during the presentation from Kay Heidbreder, the University Counsel.

Va. Tech massacre witness killed in mysterious car crash (total411.info) 11 May 2007 Jeff Soriano witnessed the Va. tech massacre and was promptly killed in a mysterious car crash five days later. What did he see? Many witnesses reported a 6-foot tall gunman incongruous with the patsy Seung Cho. (CNN report and comments)

Virginia Tech Student Survives Shooting, Dies In Crash 23 Apr 2007 A Virginia Tech freshman who returned home with his family after last week's campus massacre was killed in a car crash, his father [Enrique Soriano] confirmed Sunday. Jeff Santodomingo Soriano, 18, died from his injuries Friday in a Norfolk, Va., hospital after he was pulled from the wreckage of his burning vehicle, police said. Jeff Soriano's vehicle flipped several times and struck a tree, investigators said. Family members who witnessed the accident told WTKR TV that Soriano was speeding and racing [from] another car when the accident happened. They said the person he was 'racing' fled the scene after the accident.

Va. Tech Review Panel Holds 1st Meeting 11 May 2007 The panel studying the shooting rampage at Virginia Tech held its first public meeting Thursday, with Gov. Timothy M. Kaine asking for details about the gunman, how the events unfolded, and how the state and other agencies responded.

Companies See Demand For Instant Emergency Alerts --Local School Uses Red Alert System 09 May 2007 EZ School Alert, a new company that was developed after the Weston High School shooting, delivers instant communications to parents about emergencies, school closings and informational reminders. Amtelco, a 30-year-old business in McFarland, sells a notification system called Red Alert. It allows a school, business or government to send emergency messages. Interest in Amtelco's system has increased dramatically since the Virginia Tech Shootings, WISC-TV reported. "Our inflow of Red Alert requests and hits on our site has been 365 percent," said Tim Brady, Amtelco regional manager. "It probably wasn't until the Virginia Tech incident that schools really started to look and say, 'Do we have capabilities, do we have the ability to notify our parents, our students and other relatives instantly?'" said Steve Van Dinter, CEO of EZ School Alert... Amtelco just landed a huge federal government contract, selling its Red Alert system to FEMA.

Cho's '05 dorm visit led to police complaint 09 May 2007 Virginia Tech police filed a harassment complaint against Seung Hui Cho with the university's honor court after the future mass killer made a late-night visit to a woman's dormitory room in November 2005, according to a campus police report. The university would not say whether Cho was called to a hearing or disciplined by the school.

Cho was in grip of demonic power, says church leader 07 May 2007 Cho Hyang-in, desperate to find help for her silent, angry son, sought out some members of One Mind Church in Virginia to heal him of what the church's head pastor called "demonic power".

Britain's Minister of Security to lecture at his alma mater: Virginia Tech 27 Feb 2007 In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Department of Political Science, College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, at Virginia Tech, a public lecture by noted alumnus Tony McNulty, Minister for Police and Security in the British government, will be held on Friday, March 23, at 5 p.m. at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center. McNulty is responsible for the police service, counter-terrorism, and crime reduction (including violent crime, guns, knives, community safety and anti-social behavior). He also has cross-departmental responsibility for parliamentary business.

Bomb Warning Found Before Tech Shooting 06 May 2007 Minutes before Seung-Hui Cho's rampage inside Virginia Tech's Norris Hall, a note found on a second-floor stairwell door warned, "Bomb will go off if you open the door," a school employee said Saturday. Virginia State Police confirmed a threatening note was found in the room where janitor Pamela Tickle says she left it after the shooting, but they have not linked it to Cho.

NBC show foreshadowed Virginia shootings 01 May 2007 The television network to which the Virginia Tech gunman sent a disturbing multi-media "manifesto" about his motives had only hours earlier shown a documentary about another mentally-ill man who went on a killing spree. Cho Seung-hui's decision to interrupt his rampage through the university campus in order to post a DVD explaining his motives to NBC News in New York has been one of the most puzzling aspects of his behaviour on the day of the killings. Cho's parcel to NBC included a rambling note that began: "You forced me into a corner." On the night of Sunday April 15, the day before Cho shot dead 32 people, the prime time current affairs show "Dateline NBC" devoted its entire edition to the story of the psychotic murderer John Hyde and the failure of mental health experts to heed warnings about the danger he posed after he was released from hospital care.

Student charged for writing violent essay --High school senior says he was just following the assignment 27 Apr 2007 (Cary, IL) Authorities have filed a second disorderly conduct charge against a high school senior [Allen Lee] arrested for writing an essay officials described as disturbing and inappropriate. [Now we know the reason for the Manchurian Killer, (Cho) - the clampdown. --MDR]

U.S. Proposal Could Block Gun Buyers Tied to Terror 27 Apr 2007 The Justice Department proposed legislation on Thursday that would give the attorney general discretion to bar terrorism suspects from buying firearms, seeking to close a gap in federal gun laws. The measure, which was introduced by Senator Frank R. Lautenberg, Democrat of New Jersey, would give the attorney general authority to deny a firearm purchase [!] if the buyer was found "to be or have been engaged in conduct constituting, in preparation for, in aid of, or related to terrorism."

Police Describe Struggle to Enter Hall at Va. Tech --With Doors Chained, Access Took 5 Minutes 27 Apr 2007 Police officers desperately shot at the chains that Seung Hui Cho [?] had used to lock the entrances to Norris Hall at Virginia Tech before they shot away a deadbolt on a side door and used bolt cutters to enter the building, authorities said Thursday. Law enforcement officials reiterated Thursday that they have found no explanation for Cho's actions and no connections between him and either Emily Hilscher or Ryan Clark that would explain his decision to start his attack at the dorm.

Va. Tech gunman fired 170 rounds in 9 minutes 26 Apr 2007 The rampage lasted nine minutes - enough time for Seung-Hui Cho to unleash 170 rounds from his two pistols, or about one shot every three seconds.

Va. Tech Killer's Motives Pursued --Some Actions During Rampage Still a Mystery 26 Apr 2007 Law enforcement officials said they found 17 ammunition magazines at the scene. They said they have read reams of e-mail and cellphone records and interviewed hundreds of witnesses but have found no explanation for Cho's actions. In fact, they said, they may never know why Seung Hui Cho started at the dorm, waited more than two hours and then killed 30 more people at Norris Hall.

Cops can't link gunman to 1st Va. Tech victims 26 Apr 2007 Police said Wednesday they can find no link between the Virginia Tech gunman and his first victims [Emily Hilscher and Ryan Clark] in last week's shooting rampage, the deadliest in U.S. history.

Professor fired over Va. Tech discussion 23 Apr 2007 An adjunct professor [Nicholas Winset] was fired after leading a classroom discussion about the Virginia Tech shootings in which he pointed a marker at some students and said "pow."

Fired Emmanuel College professor fights back 23 Apr 2007 A former Emmanuel College adjunct professor [Nicholas Winset], who was fired last week after using a classroom discussion to mimic the recent tragedy at Virginia Tech, said yesterday that the college violated his rights and has tried to stifle valid discussion of a controversial topic.

Tech gunman shot victims over 100 times 22 Apr 2007 Dr. William Massello, the assistant state medical examiner based in Roanoke, said Sunday that Virginia Tech gunman Seung-Hui Cho died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his temple after firing enough shots to wound his 32 victims more than 100 times. But there was nothing unusual about Cho's autopsy, he said, and nothing that would have hinted at any psychological problems that might have led him to commit the worst shooting massacre in modern U.S. history.

Tech Shooter May Have Used eBay Account 21 Apr 2007 An eBay account that investigators believe may have belonged to the Virginia Tech killer was used to buy ammunition for the type of gun used in the rampage, according to information on the auction site. The eBay account holder with the handle Blazers5505 also sold several books and tickets to Virginia Tech football games and lists Blacksburg as the account's address. A search warrant affidavit filed Friday stated that investigators wanted to search Seung-Hui Cho's e-mail accounts, including the address Blazers5505@hotmail.com.

Cho's Name Didn’t Appear On Mentally Ill List 21 Apr 2007 Virginia authorities have submitted the names of more than 80,000 people with legally certified mental health problems to the FBI to ensure they don't buy guns. Unfortunately, the name of Cho Seung-Hui was not among them.

Tech Probe Seeks Shooter's Phone Records 21 Apr 2007 Investigators pressed ahead Saturday with their search for Virginia Tech shooter Seung-Hui Cho's motives. Authorities sought Cho's cell phone records... "Seung-Hui Cho is known to have communicated by cellular telephone and may have communicated with others concerning his plans to carry out attacks on students and faculty at Virginia Tech,'' police wrote Friday in an affidavit seeking records from Verizon Wireless. [Uh, the affidavit was filed on *Friday?* Why not *Monday?' They need to check his handler's records (over at Langley), as well.]

MSNBC live: Cell phone, computer of victim seized 21 Apr 2007

Sources: Feds Ordered VA Police to Stand Down --Local authorities were told to take no action to pursue killer By Paul Joseph Watson 20 Apr 2007 Police and EMT workers at Virginia Tech tell us that campus police were given a federal order to stand down and not pursue killer Cho Seung-Hui as Monday's bloodshed unfolded. Though wishing to remain anonymous for obvious reasons, we have received calls from police and EMT's who tell us that a stand down order was in place, and this is also confirmed by eyewitness Matt Kazee, who is a student at VA Tech.

RCMP gather school blueprints, photos to prepare for shootings 19 Apr 2007 The RCMP is gathering aerial photographs and blueprints of thousands of schools across Canada as part of its plan for responding to school shootings, which it unveiled Thursday. Under the School Action For Emergencies (SAFE) program, the RCMP plan to map out every elementary and secondary school in the force's areas of operations by September — a total of 4,700 schools.

Kafka, Orwell rolling in their graves: Student Arrested Over Va. Tech Remarks 18 Apr 2007 A University of Colorado student pleaded not guilty Wednesday to making comments that classmates deemed sympathetic [?] toward the gunman blamed for killing 32 students and himself at Virginia Tech, authorities said. During a class discussion Tuesday of Monday's massacre at Virginia Tech, Max Karson "made comments about understanding how someone could kill 32 people," university police Cmdr. Brad Wiesley said. [Ok, what about someone who uttered sympathetic remarks about the person who uttered sympathetic remarks? --LRP]

From Chris Matthews of MSNBC's 'Hardball,' 18 Apr 2007: Cho filed off the serial numbers on the gun. Yet, he used a credit card to buy the gun and kept the receipt for the purchase.

Breaking: Chicago Tribune: Alleged gunman left note in dorm room [My theory on its announced contents: "I did this for Al Qaeda in Iraq. I've come to the US because the Democrat congress wants a timeline for troop withdrawal. P.S.: Rosie O'Donnell is wrong. Osama bin Laden did carry out the 9/11 terrorist attacks. If NSA wiretaps were allowed, I wouldn't have been able to do this." --LRP]

"The average 'nut' is not this well armed, nor able to kill with such precision, and so quickly." --Comment by CLG reader, Blueridge

More from Blueridge, who lives in WV:
I have been watching Roanoke local TV with excellent coverage. Brian Williams of NBC interviewed two students, one who was shot. The following facts about the shooter emerged as they met face to face:
1. did not recognize from campus
2. reloaded clips (semi auto pistol(s)) very fast
3. "looked trained" in use of weapons, pro
4. wearing red cap, vest (impression of trained "beret")
5. authorities said he had "no ID" on him
6. gunman wearing all black (pro wear)

7. camera phone recorded "blast" after fired shots.

The school police stood down for two hours, without notifying students or faculty. During the press conference, they said they often run "drills." School president and campus police chief were absolutely emotionless during both conferences, very matter of fact. Police not providing ID, not providing weapon details... Why?

AFT source tells NBC News that the gunman was not a Virginia Tech student, but someone who had access to the dorm.

Seung-Hui Cho Was a Mind Controlled Assassin --Deadly accuracy, disturbing revelations suggest outside involvement in VA Massacre, cocktail of brainwashing from prozac, violent video games contributed to carnage By Paul Joseph Watson 19 Apr 2007 Charles Mesloh, Professor of Criminology at Florida Gulf Coast University, told NBC 2 News that he was shocked [Seung-Hui] Cho could have killed 32 people with two handguns absent expert training... "I'm dumbfounded by the number of people he managed to kill with these weapons," said Mesloh, "The only thing I can figure is that he got close to them and he simply executed them." Mesloh said the killer performed like a trained professional. "He had a 60% fatality rate with handguns - that's unheard of given 9 millimeters don't kill people instantly," said Mesloh...

Authorities Tentatively ID Va. Tech Gunman 16 Apr 2007 Authorities say they've tentatively identified the gunman behind Monday's shooting rampage at Virginia Tech that killed 32 victims, but they're not releasing any information yet. Virginia Tech Police Chief Wendell Flinchum told reporters that two weapons were recovered, but he declined to describe them.

Gunman may have made 3 bomb threats to test 'security response' 16 Apr 2007 Authorities were investigating whether the gunman who killed 32 people on the Virginia Tech campus in the deadliest shooting rampage in U.S. history was a Chinese man who arrived in the United States last year on a student visa. The 24-year-old man arrived in San Francisco on United Airlines on Aug. 7 on a visa issued in Shanghai, the source said. Police believe three bomb threats on the campus last week may have been attempts by the man to test the campus' security response, the source said. The exits to the buildings where the shootings occurred were chained by the shooter, the source said.

A 'person-of-interest' was being interviewed while the second shooting occurred. He was not a student. --Press conference, Blacksburg, VA

CNN: 'The Virginia Tech killer chained doors shut at his second shooting site before going into a German class and opening fire.'

VA Tech wasn't locked down for two hours, after the first shooting was reported at 7:15 AM. The shooter apparently made it over to the *other side of campus* and *carried out more shootings,* unmolested, two hours later!

It has not been confirmed whether or not the shooter is a student. [How did the shooter access the buildings, when a scanned ID is required for access?]
First report: The suspect was led away in handcuffs.
Second report: The suspect was killed.
Third report: The suspect killed himself.
Fourth report: There were two suspects.
Individual had same style of guns (*two* handguns) used by FBI agents, a 'high-powered' weapon and the shootings were 'well-planned.'
MSNBC's FBI profiler: 'students lined up and shot execution style'
19 hours after the first shooting, the shooter(s) has/have not been identified.
[00:15 EDT 17 Apr 2007 Note: The shooter has finally been identified.
At press conf., VT Tech.: We thought the shooter (7:15 AM) had left the state. ?

Regardless, it appears that the Gonzales testmony will receive little coverage tomorrow. Oops, strike that: Senate postpones to Thursday the gonzales hearing, in light of VA Tech shootings. Can we expect new Blackwater USA contract$ to 'secure' college campuses? --LRP

Gunman contacted NBC News during massacre --Rambling communication, video being examined by FBI, network says 18 Apr 2007 Sometime after he killed two people in a Virginia university dormitory but before he slaughtered 30 more in a classroom building Monday morning, Cho Seung-Hui sent NBC News a rambling communication and videos about his grievances, the network said Wednesday. Cho, 23, a senior English major at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, killed 32 people in two attacks Monday before taking his own life. [Yes, in between shootings, he went to the US Post Office, parcel in hand, stood in line and mailed his carton to MSNBC. I wonder if he got tracking for the package?! --LRP]

Northrop Mall evacuated after bomb threat --Eight buildings on the Minneapolis campus were evacuated at about 1:15 p.m. and will be closed for the rest of the day. 18 Apr 2007 (University of Minnesota) Appleby, Smith, Kolthoff, Fraiser, Johnston and Morrill halls, as well as Walter Library and the Science Classrooms Building, were evacuated because of a bomb threat at about 1:15 p.m., said Dan Johnson, Powers Emergency Management Coordinator. The buildings will be closed until 10 p.m. and classes in these buildings are canceled. Police are also searching other buildings on the mall area.

WSU Vancouver evacuated due to threat; Patriot Act forum rescheduled 18 Apr 2007 The Vancouver branch of Washington State University was evacuated Tuesday night because of threatening graffiti discovered in a campus restroom shortly before an evening conference on the Patriot Act and the war on [of] terror, authorities said. University officials decided to evacuate the campus about 6:30 p.m. after the graffiti was found, according to Sgt. Mike Cooke of the Clark County sheriff's office. The threat came on the same night that Brandon Mayfield, an attorney wrongly arrested by FBI agents after the 2004 Madrid terrorist bombings, was scheduled to appear on campus as part of a forum on civil liberties titled "Casualties of the USA Patriot Act and the War on Terror." His wife, Mona Mayfield, said they drove to the campus and were told to leave. Mayfield said she was told the event would be rescheduled.

School Threats Follow Va. Tech Massacre 18 Apr 2007 Schools and campuses in at least 10 states were locked down or evacuated in the aftermath of a Virginia Tech student's shooting rampage that killed 33 people. Washington State University's branch campus in Vancouver was evacuated because of graffiti discovered in a campus restroom threatened harm likened to the Virginia slayings around 8 p.m., around the time a conference on the Patriot Act and the war on [of] terror was scheduled, authorities said. The event was to be rescheduled.

Threats Rattle Schools in 10 States 18 Apr 2007 Campus threats forced lock-downs and evacuations at universities, high schools and middle schools in at least 10 states on Tuesday, a day after a Virginia Tech student's shooting rampage killed 33 people.

Two-Hour Delay Is Linked to Bad Lead 18 Apr 2007 New information emerged that may help explain a fateful two-hour delay by Virginia Tech officials in warning the campus of a gunman at large. According to search warrants and statements from the police, campus investigators had been busy pursuing what appears to have been a fruitless lead in the first of two shooting episodes Monday... Among the central unknowns is what prompted the gunman to move to Norris Hall, where all but the first two killings took place. The authorities said Mr. Cho’s preparations, including chaining the doors, suggested planning and premeditation, rather than a spontaneous event.

Va. Tech Gunman Writings Raised Concerns 18 Apr 2007 The gunman in the Virginia Tech massacre was a sullen loner who alarmed professors and classmates with his twisted, violence-drenched creative writing and left a rambling note raging against women and rich kids. [Gee, we better start censoring 'violence-drenched' creative writings. ]

U.S. Gun Laws Draw Heat After Massacre 18 Apr 2007 The Virginia Tech shootings sparked criticism of U.S. gun control laws around the world Tuesday. Editorials lashed out at the availability of weapons, and the leader of Australia - one of America's closest allies - declared that America's gun culture was costing lives. [Yeah, so is the Bush regime.]

Articles of Impeachment to Be Filed On Cheney By Mary Ann Akers 17 Apr 2007 Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio)... declared in a letter sent to his Democratic House colleagues this morning that he plans to file articles of impeachment against Vice President [sic] Dick Cheney... Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution gives Congress the authority to impeach the president, vice president and "all civil Officers of the United States" for "treason, bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors." Sources tell the Sleuth that in light of the mass killings at Virginia Tech Monday, Kucinich's impeachment plans have been put on hold. There will be no action this week, they say.

Gunman ID'd as student; tests tie same gun to both attacks 17 Apr 2007 A Virginia Tech senior [Cho Seung-Hui] from South Korea killed at least 30 people locked inside a classroom building in the deadliest shooting rampage in modern U.S. history, the university and police said Tuesday. Ballistics tests also found that one of the guns used in that attack was also used in a shooting two hours earlier at a dorm that left two people dead, Virginia State Police said. Cho committed suicide after the attacks, and there was no indication Tuesday of any possible motive.

Anger mounts over response to massacre 17 Apr 2007 (Blacksburg, VA) Parents and students at the scene of the worst school shooting in US history on Monday criticised the university for waiting too long to alert people a killer may be on the loose.

Police Cite Person of Interest in Va. Tech Dorm Killing; Dead Gunman Yet to Be ID'd 16 Apr 2007 In a press conference tonight, Virginia Tech President Charles Steger gave a detailed timeline of the morning's tragic events. He said a 9-1-1 call reporting a shooting at a dormitory was made at approximately 7:15 a.m. While police were trying to assess what they first believed was a domestic dispute, they received a second 9-1-1 call, nearly two and a half hours later, that reported shootings on the opposite side of campus. According to the Virginia Police Chief Wendell Flinchum, officials have not definitively linked the two shootings. Campus police have identified a person of interest who is not currently in police custody.

Eyewitness: '40 or 50 shots' --Massacre at Virginia Tech: 33 Confirmed Dead --Gunman's Body Disfigured; Hard to Identify 16 Apr 2007 A tranquil college campus in Virginia became a killing field Monday morning. At least 33 people are dead in the worst mass shooting in modern American history. Police at Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg, Va., said that the shootings happened at a dormitory and then at a classroom on opposite sides of the university campus. Some students are questioning why administrators did not stop classes after the first shooting, and why it took more than two hours to inform the university community via email about the shootings.

Two die in NASA hostage-taking 20 Apr 2007 An armed man killed a hostage, then himself, at NASA's Johnson Space Center on Friday, the latest incident to rattle the United States after the shooting massacre this week at Virginia Tech university. Another hostage, a woman who was gagged and bound, was not harmed, police said.

Jacobs Employee Identified as Space Center Gunman 20 Apr 2007 A gunman who killed a hostage and then himself inside the Johnson Space Center in Houston on Friday afternoon was an employee of Pasadena-based Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. Jacobs, one of the nation’s largest engineering and construction firm with $7.8 billion in 2006 revenues, has long had contracts with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, both at facilities at Cape Canaveral in Florida and at the Johnson Space Center.

KPRC reporter: "The only people who can go through the [NASA] gate are employees, government officials, and media personnel who have been issued credentials - not merely ID. Your name has to be on a list, and you have to pass a checkpoint. That includes everyone who works at NASA... This person [gunman] had credentials." According to Laurie Johnson of Houston Public Radio: "It's very difficult to get a gun onto the NASA campus, but that's what happened." On MSNBC, Cliff Van Zandt, FBI profiler, said: "It appears that he entered the building with specific targets." I am posting these quotations before they 'disappear.' --LRP

[ WRONG exposing the murderers (plural) is a Service to the victims and their families. Expecting people to believe that one lone gunman without any military training killed 32 college sudents with two handguns (which he would had to have reloaded, according ot the official story) is not only a real diservice to the victims and their loved ones (as it lets the real perps get away, them having pinned it on a dead person - Cho - who cannot testify in a court of law) it is dualy an insult to the intelligence of the American People and the People of Virginia (since there are glaring holes in the official story that this thread has highlighted) and the Students/faculty of Virginia-Tech. You think all of those kids would have stood by, after Cho the supposed only gunman had killed a handful of their classmates and perhaps the teacher already, while he reloaded without at least hurling some sort of blunt object at him, to try and stop the killings?!! Thats truly an insult to them The mountain of evidence suggests BLACK and PSYCHOLOGICAL-OPERATIONS and MULTIPLE GUNMEN. How could Cho, who supposedly had zero training, have 60% hit ratio with these handguns when police in the field have an average 15% on a good day?!! Those who do not use their intelligence are no better than those who have none...]

And wikipedia is not a source as anybody can edit and post anecdotal information.

[ I dont use wikipedia hardly ever and certainly not in this thread. Most of the posts have embedded links that are seen by dragging the mouse over the texts. ]

[ No. VA-Tech however was what they call an 'inside-job' and 'false flag terror' as they tried to make it look like a MUSLIM hate crime against Americans. One in a long line of false-flag operations that have been documented. Only liars the completely ignorant or paid disinformers would insist otherwise, so which catagory do you fall under? ]

There's a section in this website for "alternative" explanations and conspiracy theories, why can't you post there?

[ Why do you feel the right to tell other people how ot use their own Freedom of Speach? Are you one of those epople that would sacrafice another persons freedom for differing from your own personal opinions? Freedom for all or for none, I say. It is actually political material in this thread had you bothered to read any of it. I certainly dont see you have anything better to contribute.]

Are you intentionally trying to prevent and/or discourage other members from having their threads read? Are you intentionally trying to hinder discussion on this site?

[ No I wish to facilitate discussion on the topics considered taboo elsewhere, which you seem to be doing your best to prevent and hinder by attempting to discredite (unsuccessfully). VA-Tech = Inside job. ]

StAnother Shooter With A History Of Anti-depressant Use
Killer is latest in long line of young men with history of psychiatric drugs treatment for depression and ADHD.

Steve Watson
Robert Hawkins, the 19 year old who killed himself and eight other people with an assault rifle last night in Omaha, Nebraska had a history of treatment with psychiatric drugs for depression and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and was on prozac according to press reports .

Of course the headlines will once again focus on how evil and dangerous guns are, how the second amendment should be reevaluated and will once again ignore the fact that this young man was subject to dangerous brain altering chemicals for a number of years prior to this tragic incident.

Hawkins is the latest in a long line of shooters all of which were on prescribed antidepressants before they suddenly snapped and decided to kill as many people as they could before taking their own lives.

Investigators believe that Cho Seung Hui, the Virginia Tech murderer, had been taking anti-depressant medication at some point before the shootings last April, according to The Chicago Tribune .

Columbine shooters Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, as well as 15-year-old Kip Kinkel, the Oregon killer who gunned down his parents and classmates, were all on psychotropic drugs.

Jeff Weise, the Red Lake High School killer was on prozac , "Unabomber" Ted Kaczinski, Michael McDermott, John Hinckley, Jr., Byran Uyesugi, Mark David Chapman and Charles Carl Roberts IV, the Amish school killer, were all on SSRI psychotropic drugs.

Antidepressant drugs have never been tested on children nor approved by the FDA for use on children, however, Scientific studies proving that prozac encourages suicidal tendencies in young people are voluminous and span back nearly a decade.

In 2005, it was revealed that Eli Lilly had full knowledge of a 1200% increase in suicide risk for takers of their Prozac. This evidence came in the wake of findings published in the British Medical Journal a year previously.

In 2006 a report was published outlining the fact that anti-depressant drug Paxil doubles the risk of violent behavior . Another study published in the Archives of General Psychiatry revealed that teens taking antidepressant drugs are more likely to commit suicide.

However, prescriptions of antidepressants and other mind-altering drugs among schoolchildren has more than quadrupled in that time, while use of behaviour-altering drugs, including Ritalin, for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and Modafinil, for daytime sleepiness, has soared ten-fold.

It is a well known fact among the makers of these drugs that they are directly linked to behavioural disturbances including agitation, panic attacks and extreme aggression, yet their use is so commonplace that they have now even found their way into our drinking water .

Since these deadly drugs are prevalent in almost all mass shooting incidents, where is the call to ban prozac? Where is the investigation into these drugs and the big pharma corporations that are pushing them and gaining record profits? Why is the knee-jerk reaction always to attack the 2nd Amendment rights of Americans to self-defense, a right that was exercised in January 2002 when students subdued a shooter at another Virginia university before he could kill more than three people because they were allowed guns on campus?

Antidepressant Drugs Linked to School Shootings
Wednesday, April 02, 2008
http://www.naturalnews.com/022930.html

A parents' rights organization has called on Congress to investigate a
potential link between psychiatric drugs and school shootings, and called
for parents to be better informed about the risks of such medications. New
York-based Ablechild accused the mental health industry of "[continuing] to
downplay the risks of drugs widely prescribed to millions."

According to statistics from Medwatch, the drug reporting system maintained
by the FDA, there have been 63,000 cases of people on antidepressants
committing suicide in the United States.

"With 1.5 million children currently on antidepressants in the United States
alone, Ablechild is deeply concerned about the number of children being
prescribed these powerful and potentially lethal drugs," the organization
said in a press release.

Ablechild said that eight recent school shooters were taking antidepressant
medication at the time of their crimes, and that most parents are unaware of
this fact. Among the shooters taking antidepressants were Eric Harris in
Columbine, Colorado, and Kip Kinkel in Springfield, Oregon.

The drugs being taken by the shooters have been "documented to cause not
only suicidal ideation but also mania, psychosis, hostility, hallucinations
and even 'homicidal behavior,'" Ablechild said.

The organization criticizes doctors and the pharmaceutical industry for
failing to properly warn parents of the side effects of such drugs, even
though the FDA recently added a "black box" warning about suicide to many
antidepressant medications. In addition, Ablechild says that parents are
rarely told that there is no physical component to diagnoses such as
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder and
depression, and that the categorization of some behavior clusters as
"disorders" is still controversial.

The organization said that doctors often fail to focus their attention on
underlying educational or medical issues that may be the ultimate cause of
behavioral or attention difficulties. Such issues include problems with
vision, nutrition, sleep or exercise.

Such underlying problems, Ablechild says, "are at best merely masked by
powerful antidepressants and stimulants."

Subject: Another "SSRI Story" Illinois shooting incident - a must-read for anyone who is considering taking psychiatric medication

The ‘Health Ranger’ <http://discoverandrecover.wordpress.com/2008/02/19/the-health-ranger/>

Mike Adams, the ‘Health Ranger’ issued a statement today about the Illinois shooting incident - a must-read for anyone who is considering taking psychiatric medication, and for parents and families with young adults -
NaturalNews / NewsTarget Insider Alert

Dear NaturalNews / NewsTarget readers,
Due to widespread misreporting of the Illinois shooting incident by the mainstream media (MSM), I’m issuing a weekend e-mail alert that tells the truth about the link between psychiatric drugs and every school shooting that has taken place in the United States in the last decade.
Here’s the first section from the article posted today:

(NaturalNews) It comes as no surprise to anyone who’s been following school shootings all the way back to the Colombine High massacre in Colorado: Every young, male shooter that has gone on a killing spree in the United States also has a history of treatment with psychotropic drugs — typically SSRI antidepressants.

[(The state of Virgina refused to disclose Cho's blood results...many think it is because the pharmaceutical companies don't want the public to know that he was taking psychiatric drugs......He roommate reports that he did....so what were the pills and way doesn't the state of Virgina disclose this.) added by Naomi]

[Especially note www.ssristories.com <http://www.ssristories.com> . - added by Gary.]

These shootings have three things in common: 1) The shooters are young males. 2) The shooters exhibit a mind-numbed disconnect with reality. 3) The shooters have a history of taking psychiatric drugs. This latest shooting by 27-year-old Stephen Kazmierczak shares the same three factors.

Stephen was considered a “normal, undistressed person,” according to press reports. He was considered “an outstanding student” and even received a Dean’s Award for outstanding work in sociology.
So what happened to Stephen’s brain that caused him to snap and open fire on students in a college classroom?

Psych meds make good people do bad things

Psychiatric drugs, of course, are well known to cause extremely violent thoughts and behavior in young males. This is actually acknowledged by the FDA and is found in the black-box warnings printed on the packaging for such drugs.

In Europe, the prescribing of many such drugs to children and teens is actually illegal. But in the United States, where psychiatric medications have become the “new medicine” for American youth, nobody seems to pay attention to the simple fact that every school shooting we’ve seen in the last decade has been committed by a young male with a history of treatment with these dangerous mind-altering chemicals…

Preventive Psychiatry E-Newsletter # 308

New Study Adds to Heated Debate over Suicide Risks of Antidepressants

Analysis Reveals Suicide Victims Have Psych Drugs in Blood Stream

From the Big Muddy River Newsletter @ www.CCHRSTL.org <http://www.CCHRSTL.org>
The findings of a study presented at the annual American Psychiatric Association (APA) conference in San Diego and published in Psychiatric Times may incite another firestorm in the heated debate over the correlation between antidepressants and suicide.

The psychiatric watchdog group, Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR), says that in spite of psychiatric vested interests downplaying the suicidal side effects of antidepressants, which they have known about for more than a decade and a half, new evidence has forced psychiatrists to acknowledge a link between antidepressants and suicide.
http://jahtruth.net/drugs.htm

The study, “Antidepressants and Suicide in Children and Adolescents in Virginia: Toxicology Findings,” analyzed toxicology reports in “unnatural” deaths from the Virginia Medical Examiner’s Office, and was presented to the APA May 23, 2007. Researcher Dr. Antony Fernandez and colleagues found that youth suicide victims were significantly more likely to have SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) antidepressants in their bloodstream than were victims of other unnatural deaths. SSRIs were found in the bloodstream of at least 56 of the Virginia youth suicide victims whose toxicology results were available—the suicides ranged from poisoning to hanging and gunshots.

These findings follow a 2004 warning by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that children and teens are twice as likely to experience “suicidal thoughts and behaviors” than they are on placebo. Although the study pointed out that the victims of homicide did not have higher rates of antidepressants in their bloodstream, the APA has yet to acknowledge that eight recent adolescents committing homicide in school shootings were in fact under the influence of antidepressants — documented to cause mania, psychosis, depersonalization, and in some cases, "homicidal ideation."

Despite mounting evidence of a link between antidepressants and suicide/violence, psychiatrists indiscriminately prescribe the drugs to millions, based on subjective diagnoses made without any physical tests — such as blood tests, brain scans or X-rays — and try to obscure the dangerous side effects of the drugs in order to protect billions in profit from drug sales. Psychiatrist David Brent, one of the researchers in a recent study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association that pushed that the “benefits” of antidepressants for kids trumped suicidal side effects, urged the FDA to moderate the black box suicide warning on antidepressants — although many parents’ rights activists say this warning is imperative in upholding their right to informed consent. Another leading psychiatrist, John Mann of Columbia University, further attempted to diminish the negative publicity on such profitable drugs by claiming, “The idea that antidepressants are responsible for suicides isn’t supported by the data.”

CCHR says human rights activists, parents, experts and others who have been insisting that the public be warned about the suicidal side effects of antidepressants are once again vindicated by this new study on SSRIs in suicide victims. Because these findings are so alarming, the Psychiatric Times published “action points” — in effect, suggestions on how psychiatrists can assuage parents’ fears that may prevent them from purchasing the drugs for their children — including telling consumers that the study “represents an association rather than causation…” and that “These data and conclusions should be considered preliminary….”

More proof that inside-job school shootings have been going on for some time now, as the alphabet-soup gangs grow more and more bold in taking life of innocent American civilians

The Lethal Media Silence on Kent State's Smoking Guns

by Bob Fitrakis & Harvey Wasserman

The 1970 killings by National Guardsmen of four students during a peaceful
anti-war demonstration at Kent State University have now been shown to be
cold-blooded, premeditated official murder. But the definitive proof of this
monumental historic reality is not, apparently, worthy of significant
analysis or comment in today's mainstream media.

After 37 years of official denial and cover-up, tape-recorded evidence, that
has existed for decades and has been in the possession of the Federal Bureau
of Investigation (FBI), has finally been made public.

It proves what "conspiracy theorists" have argued since 1970--that there was
a direct military order leading to the unprovoked assassination of unarmed
students. Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) documents show collusion between
Ohio Governor James A. Rhodes and the FBI that aimed to terrorize anti-war
demonstrators and their protests that were raging throughout the nation.

It is difficult to overstate the political and cultural impact of the
killing of the four Kent State students and wounding of nine more on May 4,
1970. The nation's campuses were on fire over Richard Nixon's illegal
invasion of Cambodia. Scores of universities were ripped apart by mass
demonstrations and student strikes. The ROTC building at Kent burned down.
The vast majority of American college campuses were closed in the aftermath,
either by student strikes or official edicts.

Nixon was elected president in 1968 claiming to have a "secret plan" to end
the war in Southeast Asia. But the revelation that he was in fact escalating
it with the illegal bombing of what had been a peaceful non-combatant nation
was more than Americans could bear.

As the ferocity of the opposition spread deep into the grassroots, Nixon's
Vice President, Spiro Agnew, shot back in a series of speeches. He referred
to student demonstrators as Nazi "brownshirts" and suggested that college
administrators and law enforcement should "act accordingly."

On May 3, 1970--the day before National Guardsmen under his purview opened
fire at Kent State Rhodes echoed Agnew's remarks by referring to student
demonstrators as "the strongest, well-trained militant revolutionary group
that has ever assembled in America ... They're worse than the brownshirts
and the Communist element and the night riders and the vigilantes. They are
the worst type of people that we harbor in America...."

Rhodes told a reporter that the Ohio National Guard would remain at Kent
State "until we get rid of them" referring to a demographic group that was
overwhelmingly white, middle class and in college.

The next day, Rhodes, the administration and the FBI sent those students a
lethal message.

Rhodes was the perfect messenger. Bumbling and mediocre, with a long history
of underworld involvement, Rhodes was a devoted admirer of Nixon, and of FBI
Director J. Edgar Hoover. Public records reveal that Rhodes was a virtual
stooge for the FBI because of the agency's files tying Rhodes directly to
organized crime.

When Kent's ROTC building was torched on May 2 under suspicious
circumstances (student protestors couldn't get it to light until a
mysterious "biker" showed up with a canister of gasoline) it provided the
perfect cover for Rhodes to dispatch the National Guard.

But contrary to law, they were supplied with live ammunition. On May 4, in
the presence of a peaceful, unthreatening rally, the Guard was strung along
a ridge 100 yards from the bulk of the protestors. Earlier, rocks and
insults had been hurled at the Guard. But not one of the numerous
investigations and court proceedings involving what happened next has ever
contended any of the students were armed, or that the Guard was under threat
of physical harm at the time of the shooting.

For 37 years the official cover story has been that a mysterious shot rang
out and the young Guardsmen panicked, firing directly into the "mob" of
students.

This week, that cover story was definitively proven to be a lie.

Prior to the shooting, a student named Terry Strubbe put a microphone at the
window of his dorm, which overlooked the rally. According to the Associated
Press, the 20-second tape is filled with "screaming anti-war protectors
followed by the sound of gunfire."

But in an amplified version of the tape, a Guard officer is also heard
shouting "Right here! Get Set! Point! Fire!"

The sound of gunshots follow the word "Point." Four students soon lay dead.
Two days later, two more would die at Jackson State University, as police
fired without provocation into a dorm.

Strubbe gave a copy of the Kent tape to the FBI soon after the shooting (he
has kept the original in a safe deposit box). Eight Guardsmen were later
tried for civil rights violations, and acquitted. Neither their officers,
nor Nixon, nor Agnew, nor Rhodes, nor the FBI, were ever brought to trial.
But massive volumes of research--including an epic study by James A.
Michener and William Gordon's Four Dead in Ohio--strongly imply an explicit
conspiracy to intimidate the national anti-war movement.

After 37 years, Strubbe's tape got its first widespread public perusal last
week. Six months ago, Alan Canfora, 58, one of the nine wounded Kent
students, learned it had been given to Yale University's archives. Last week
he played it to a group of students and reporters at a small university
theater.

The fact that the Guard got direct orders to set, aim and shoot flies
directly in the face of the official cover story that they were responding
in panic to a random shot fired at them, or that they were defending
themselves from some kind of student attack.

In fact, it seems highly likely no shot ever rang out prior to the order to
fire. Nor could the Guard, who killed a student as much as 900 feet away
from the rally, say they were under any serious attack from the students.

The Kent State killings are now prominently featured in virtually every
history book of the United States used in American schools. The accounts
often include the famous photo of an anguished Mary Ann Vecchio crying for
help next to the dead body of student protestor Jeffrey Miller. (They were
265 feet away from where the shot that killed Miller was fired.) Rendered
into song by Neil Young's classic "Ohio," there are few more definitive
moments in the history of this nation.

But meaningful analysis of the implications of this tape has been
mysteriously missing from the American media. The Associated Press did carry
a widely-run story about the surfacing of this evidence, as did National
Public Radio. But the Columbus Dispatch, in Ohio's capital, buried the
report on page A-5 under the innocuous headline "Victim shares audio tape of
Kent State shootings." Virtually absent from the major US media has been a
concerted examination of the fact that the keystone in this monumental
American saga has been re-set.

For we now know that a premeditated, unprovoked order was indeed given to
National Guardsmen to fire live ammunition at peaceful, unarmed American
students, killing four of them. The illegal order to arm the Guard with live
ammunition in the first place could only have come from the governor of
Ohio. The very loud, very public nod to shoot some "brown shirt" students
somewhere in order to chill the massive student uprising against the
Southeast Asian war was spewed all over the national media by the
second-highest official in US government.

Now the magnitude of Kent State's impact on American politics and culture,
already immense, has been significantly deepened.

Alan Canfora intends to use this tape to re-open investigations into what
happened at Kent State 37 years ago.

But the media's apparent unconcern about confirmation of the official order
to carry out these killings may bear a simple message: that we should be
prepared for them to happen again.

Unarmed and vulnerable

Bradford B. Wiles

Wiles, of New Castle, is a graduate student at Virginia Tech.

On Aug. 21 at about 9:20 a.m., my graduate-level class was evacuated from the Squires Student Center. We were interrupted in class and not informed of anything other than the following words: "You need to get out of the building."

Upon exiting the classroom, we were met at the doors leading outside by two armor-clad policemen with fully automatic weapons, plus their side arms. Once outside, there were several more officers with either fully automatic rifles and pump shotguns, and policemen running down the street, pistols drawn.

It was at this time that I realized that I had no viable means of protecting myself.

Please realize that I am licensed to carry a concealed handgun in the commonwealth of Virginia, and do so on a regular basis. However, because I am a Virginia Tech student, I am prohibited from carrying at school because of Virginia Tech's student policy, which makes possession of a handgun an expellable offense, but not a prosecutable crime.

I had entrusted my safety, and the safety of others to the police. In light of this, there are a few things I wish to point out.

First, I never want to have my safety fully in the hands of anyone else, including the police.

Second, I considered bringing my gun with me to campus, but did not due to the obvious risk of losing my graduate career, which is ridiculous because had I been shot and killed, there would have been no graduate career for me anyway.

Third, and most important, I am trained and able to carry a concealed handgun almost anywhere in Virginia and other states that have reciprocity with Virginia, but cannot carry where I spend more time than anywhere else because, somehow, I become a threat to others when I cross from the town of Blacksburg onto Virginia Tech's campus.

Of all of the emotions and thoughts that were running through my head that morning, the most overwhelming one was of helplessness.

That feeling of helplessness has been difficult to reconcile because I knew I would have been safer with a proper means to defend myself.

I would also like to point out that when I mentioned to a professor that I would feel safer with my gun, this is what she said to me, "I would feel safer if you had your gun."

The policy that forbids students who are legally licensed to carry in Virginia needs to be changed.

I am qualified and capable of carrying a concealed handgun and urge you to work with me to allow my most basic right of self-defense, and eliminate my entrusting my safety and the safety of my classmates to the government.

This incident makes it clear that it is time that Virginia Tech and the commonwealth of Virginia let me take responsibility for my safety.

David Codrea posted a couple of revealing letters on his excellent blog site, The War on Guns.

It's a great site. I can't recommend it enough:

In September, Larry Hincker, Virginia Tech's AVP spokesman, ridiculed a graduate student who had written a letter to Roanoke Times calling for VA Tech to end its policy of banning concealed carry permit holders from carrying for self-defense on campus.

Read this letter and see the contempt Larry Hincker, associate vice president for university relations at Virginia Tech, publicly heaps on the suggestion that students may need to defend themselves. (Note: The text of Hinkler's letter is copied below so you don't have to link to it.)

Here is the letter he ridiculed <http://www.roanoke.com/editorials/commentary/wb/80510> .

Now for the asinine University response:

Imagine if students were armed

<http://www.roanoke.com/editorials/commentary/wb/81277> Hincker is the associate vice president for university relations at Virginia Tech.

After the fear, and dare I say, panic from the events of Aug. 21, it is absolutely mind-boggling to see the opinions of Bradford Wiles ("Unarmed and vulnerable," Aug. 31).

I once worked for an out-of-touch manager who gave rather absurd directions. My colleagues and I would do as directed and dubbed it "malicious compliance," knowing the task to be inane and the manager's foibles would soon be apparent.

The editors of this page must have printed this commentary if for no other reason than malicious compliance. Surely, they scratched their heads saying, "I can't believe he really wants to say that."

Wiles tells us that he didn't feel safe with the hundreds of highly trained officers armed with high powered rifles encircling the building and protecting him. He even implies that he needed his sidearm to protect himself against the officers.

On that fateful Monday, campus was understandably on edge. Elvis-type sightings of the escaped prisoner around campus were rampant. People were legitimately concerned about where he might be. And although the police were relatively confident they had the suspect cornered (they were ultimately proved right), the anxiety level elsewhere on campus was very high.

Panic calls from within the Squires Student Center quickly morphed from facts into rumors, including a frantic call alleging a hostage situation. The police had no choice but to move a massive force from the manhunt site to that side of campus to deal with the hostage rumor.

The writer would have us believe that a university campus, with tens of thousands of young people, is safer with everyone packing heat. Imagine the continual fear of students in that scenario. We've seen that fear here, and we don't want to see it again.

Who among us thinks the writer of the commentary would not have been directly in harm's way if he showed himself to those tactical squads while displaying a deadly weapon? Would he even be here today to tell us the story? Contrary to his position, the writer's commentary actually gives credence to the university policy preventing weapons in classrooms.

Guns don't belong in classrooms. They never will. Virginia Tech has a very sound policy preventing same.

============================================================================

Yeah, lucky for those 32 students Larry Hincker kept them from getting themselves in harm's way. Who wouldn't rather die than take that risk if you're going to be slaughtered anyway?

VIRGINIA TECH MASSACRE
State quashed bill allowing handguns on campuses
College spokesman celebrated 2006 defeat because it would help make campus safe

April 16, 2007
By Art Moore
? 2007 WND.com

More than one year before today's unprecedented shooting rampage at Virginia Tech, the state's General Assembly quashed a bill that would have given qualified college students and employees the right to carry handguns on campus.

At the time, Virginia Tech spokesman Larry Hincker said he was happy to hear of the bill's defeat, according to the Roanoke Times.

"I'm sure the university community is appreciative of the General Assembly's actions because this will help parents, students, faculty and visitors feel safe on our campus," the Virginia Tech spokesman said.

At least 32 people were killed today at Virginia Tech in the worst campus shooting in U.S. history.

The proposal, House Bill 1572, was initiated by Del. Todd Gilbert, R-Shenandoah County, on behalf of the Virginia Citizens Defense League.

But the bill didn't pass its first stage, the House Committee on Militia, Police and Public Safety.

Most universities in Virginia require students and employees, other than police, to check their guns with police or campus security upon entering campus.

Backers of the bill wanted to prohibit public universities from making "rules or regulations limiting or abridging the ability of a student who possesses a valid concealed handgun permit ... from lawfully carrying a concealed handgun."

The bill's sponsor, Gilbert, told WND that with today's tragedy still unfolding, he is uncomfortable commenting and cannot assert the university's policy in any way contributed to the shooting. But he said, nevertheless, it's clear it couldn't have stopped the attack.

"The one thing that this tragic event does illustrate is that there is not a single gun law, rule or regulation that will stop someone with this kind of evil intent from going about their business and taking life at will, if they are committed to doing that," Gilbert said.

While advocates of gun control often believe they are improving safety, they are depriving law-abiding citizens from defending themselves in dangerous situations, he contended.

"Had I been on campus today, and otherwise been entitled to carry firearms for protection and been deprived of that, I don't think words can describe how I would have felt, knowing I could have stopped something like this," Gilbert said.

People who are willing to jump through all the legal hoops necessary to get a weapons permit usually are not people society needs to worry about, he argued.

In the spring of 2005, a Virginia Tech student who had a concealed handgun permit was disciplined for bringing a handgun to class, the Roanoke paper reported. Second Amendment groups questioned the university's authority, but the Virginia Association of Chiefs of Police argued against guns on campus.

In June 2006, Virginia Tech's governing board approved a violence prevention policy that reaffirmed the school's ban.

============================================================================
Thank Heavens Larry Hincker and the Virginia Association of Chiefs of Police kept all those concealed carry guns off campus. Thank Heavens for Virginia Tech's governing board's "violence prevention policy". It would've been much worse had staff and students been able to shoot back. Statistics show that they would've only injured themselves and others and perpetuated the cycle of violence. So be a good victim, dial 911, visualize peace, think pink, act locally, and leave guns to the experts. Only cops can be trusted with guns.
============================================================================

============================================================================
*** Important Note ***
If only those Virginia Tech students had read "The Secret: The Law of Attraction", they'd still be alive! Just ask Oprah!
Be sure to visualize not being shot more than someone visualizes shooting you. The universe will grant your wish!

<h3 id="comments"> Response to “Cho Seung-Hui - The Conspiracy”</h3>
  • PROBE Says:
May 2nd, 2007 at 1:28 pm Did Cho have an accomplice or was he set up?

    FACTS

    1. In order to shoot 2 to 3 shots with both guns in the hand, accurately, the person must be a professional shooter.
    (Colombine incident included 2 people, 3guns, 900 shots=13 deaths)

CSH(Cho Seung Hee) was never trained in the army
If you have shot a gun before, you would know
it is hard to fire a pistol so accurately, in such quick time

CSH had only bought the guns a month before the shooting. How is it possible for him to shoot so well?

    2. Emily, reported to be his former girlfriend, is actually not his girlfriend

    3. Emily was not related with CSH in any way, but he went to her dormitory and killed her.

    4. Cho’s body had 2 shots in the chest, 1 in the head
There are 3 common ways of suicidal with gun
1)shooting from the side of the head
    2)shooting through your mouth
    3)Shooting from under your head

The usual suicide would have shots in the side of the head or the face, usually. CSH, however,

had a bullet stuck in the back of the head

Most people who were fired at got 3 shots
CSH, was found with 3 shots in his body just like any other victims

It is extremely hard to shoot yourself multiple times after being shot in the chest or the head. Again, CSH had 1 shot in the head, 2 shots in the chest

Why was he shot 3 times, just like the others?
does it make sense that he was shot in such a way?

    5. There was no witness to the suicide scene
the survivors in the scene had run out of the classroom (he said the killer’s eyes were not Asian)

-this kind of explanation were ignored

    What’s the truth?

    6. Nobody saw CSH’s face

    7. The witness’s say CSH was an Asian with a mask on, and was about 6 ft tall and big

    8. The gun vender described CSH as an Asian. Period.
There were no films of CCTV, and no other evidences

    9. The vender said he had sold 50 bullets to CSH
There were 62 deaths and injuries
There was no one who died was shot less than 3 times
    (32 deaths x 3 shots/death….30 injuries x 2 shots/injury…60 extra bullets)

Calculated, CSH must have had more than 200 shots to make this incident true

    10. The killer had erased the code on the gun. The receipt for the purchase of the gun was found in the killer’s bag. What are the possibilities of the killer keeping the receipt for the gun after a month?
If anyone would take effort and time to erase the code on the gun, wouldn’t they be careful enough to get rid of the receipt? (It’s not easy to erase the code. It takes few seconds to get rid of the receipt)

    11. The witnesses said the killer did not wear, nor carry any bags. CSH, did have a bag

    12. Obviously, the video he had sent, was not made by himself. Even New York Times pointed this out.

    13. According to the Police, the gun at the incident was automatic. Watch the videos and hear the sounds. It’s all fired with single shots.

Think about it. There are about 10~15 rounds in a pistol, and there were 32 deaths, with 3 shots in each. With both pistols in both hands, it is impossible to reload. Watch the video, it is constantly fired.

    14. CSH had no friends at all, according to a student. Before a few days of the incident, he was with 3 other Americans. Who were they?

    15. In the news, CSH had done this for the hate of the rich people. If this is true, he could have simply shot the classrooms. There was no reason for him to go to the dormitories and kill 2 people, who were not in any relations with CSH.

And why did CSH, after the first shooting, make the video and walk around the school to send it, and then go to the 2nd shooting?

    16. When CSH’s body was found, his ID was PRESENT, it was there. Why was his identity reported later on?

    17. The Witness’ sayings do not match correctly. Some say that they did not hear the gunfire in their building, but other say they heard it from that building.

    18. The photos which were sent to NBC do not match CSH’s face.
Observing the eyebrows, eyes, and the face shape, it is different. Some say it’s because he has his glasses off. Look again, it does not match CSH.

    19. CSH’s body was found with the 28 dead bodies in the classroom. The only survivor said, the killer had run away after killing the 28 people, while CSH was found dead with the other dead bodies

    20. The classroom, dormitory, hallways, school gate, the gunshop.
The films of the CCTV were NOT exposed to the public. WHY?

So What’s wrong with the reports/news?

    -CCTV
-2 guns/amature, yet many students died and many were injured as a professional shooter would have done it
-According to the witness, CSH had apparently left the classroom
-CSH was found dead in the classroom
    -The gun code was erased
-The receipt for the gun was found in the bag

These are the theories I’ve made about this

-CSH had bought the guns for someone else?
-The killer knew CSH did not have a positive social life
-The killer decided to use CSH
-The killer had planned this out to keep himself covered

(continued)

April 16, 2007

A shooter roamed Virginia Tech's campus for two hours, and there are 33 dead, and 21 wounded. The shooter had two handguns, and killed himself.

School President

"Today the university was struck with a tragedy that we consider of monumental proportions," said Virginia Tech's Jewish president Charles Steger. "The university is shocked and indeed horrified." He takes no blame for not taking serious actions after the first shooting. The school has a annual budget of $900 million, and allowed this to happen?

Shooting Starts At 7:15

The shooting begins at about 7:15 a.m. at West Ambler Johnston, a co-ed residence hall that houses 895 people, and continued about two hours later at Norris Hall, an engineering building.

Thirty one students, and two professors were killed.. Two students were killed in a dorm, and the others were killed in the classroom.

First Two Shot

The gunman shot Emily Hilscher, and Robert Clark a dorm supervisor.

University President And Security Chief

They allowed classes as normal, and 24,000 kids to come to school?

Shooter Moves To Norris Hall

At approximately 9:15 A.M, a second shooting occurred at Norris Hall, a classroom.

Shooter Was A South Korean National

He is identified as Cho Seung-Hui, a fourth year South Korean student, who entered the country in 1992. There appears to be no motive, and he moved like a trained assassin. He chained doors, then he methodically, and in cold blood, shot students.

Zionists Are Clamoring For Gun Confiscation

Basically, the Zionists don't want any guns around after they collapse the economy. Their campaign is for total gun control.

Monday, April 16 - Timeline

  • 7:15 a.m.: A 9-1-1 emergency call to Virginia Tech Police reports a shooting at West Ambler Johnston Hall, leaving one person dead and one injured. The second person later died.
  • 7:30 a.m.: Investigators were following up on leads concerning a person of interest in relation to the double homicide. Investigators from VT PD and Blacksburg PD were actively following up on various leads. Meanwhile, Cho returns to his dorm room to re-load and leaves a "disturbing note."
  • 8:00 a.m.: Classes begin.
  • 8:25 a.m.: Virginia Tech leadership team meets to develop a plan on how to notify students of the homicide. Meanwhile, police stop the unidentified "person of interest" in a vehicle off-campus and detain him for questioning.
  • 9:00 a.m.: Virginia Tech leadership team is briefed on the latest events in the ongoing dormitory homicide investigation.
  • 9:05 a.m.: Cho seen in Norris Hall, an Engineering building. Cho chains the doors shut from the inside.
  • 9:26 a.m.: E-mails go out to campus staff, faculty, and students saying there has been a shooting on campus (in reference to the Dorm shooting).
  • 9:45 a.m.: Students in the engineering building Norris Hall call police to report more shots have been fired. Cho kills thirty more people before turning the gun on himself. Police have breached the barricaded doors, but the shooter is dead before police arrive.

This Makes No Sense

The shooting starts at 7:15 in a dorm, and the killer roams the campus for two hours. The shooting ends at approximately 9:40.

The Absurdity Of It All

A killer executes two students, he roams the campus for two hours and then executes thirty more. Anyone with a brain would have called off classes, just block six entrances, and call in SWAT, the state police, the county sheriff, etc.

This pompous incompetent Abbie Steger did nothing, and allowed the massacre. Then no one said a word, they could be called an Anti Semite if they went after this clown.
