^ No it ain't (at least to me).

I'm into just about anything, except jazz.

Korn rocks! That's another band I sorta liked before hearing much of RATM. Ya like Tool?

I'm addicted to Eulogy and The Grudge, at the moment.

No, I've heard of Misfits, but never really heard any of their music.

Like both, but stating a preference was easy: I went with rock.

--------------------
Yin To Your Yang

All of those rocks there, all of them,
Thrown at us for as long as we can remember.
All of our dreams, all of them,
Flattened and crushed, as soon as they start taking shape.
Ah baby, who do they take us for.

Battered and bruised,
constantly,
relentlessly.
Killing? Not their aim.
Keeping us in an unimportant place is what this is about.
Ah baby, who do they think we are.

Not enough choices up there..... I'm an all of the above kind of guy when it comes to music... all dependant on my mood at the time.... Tool and Misfits are both really great..... but ten minutes from now I could be on a Tori Amos kick.... few after fire up Wu Tang..... Mozart..... Irish traditional..... whatever..... I just go with what sounds good at the time..... and hey Reg, why no on the Jazz.... if you don't mind me asking that is....

QUOTE (RunninFree @ Jun 22 2004, 05:32 PM)
i hate kid rock to...and korn is what got me into music when i was 13. and seriously i love dedicating my time to music its something i really really love to do both listen and play.

oh well i'm just not ment to be a rap/hip hop fan

i'm also not a fan of pop, techno and alot of newer punk stuff

what i'm into is rock, hard rock, metal, some punk and i guess the whole "rock/rap" thing.

sorry this is off topic almost completly i just like talking tongue.gif

Haha runninfree man, i agree with basically everything you said.
I dont hate rap, i actually have a fe records and like many songs, but i do hate today´s rap as i hear it in the radio, especially when i go to the United States. I also dislike the attitude that lots of rap singers have developed. In some cases it just turns out being lame and elitist, disrespectful.. trying to be "kewl". Bah... i hate "kewl" people. I know that not all the rap is about this though.

And YES, Kid Rock does suck! But ill have to target Eminem as the top of my hate list...

And new "punk" music (as in simple plan, good charlotte...) Good lord, they all suck (its just my opinion anyway)

Why no on the jazz? I hate it. Especially when I went to a college concert and heard the most horrible voice in California singing songs. Jazz seems like simply talking throughout the music. Rock keeps a rhythem(sp) going, and the lyrics go in with each other, and the singers carry a tune. For instance:

Rock song:
He had alot to say
He had alotta nothing to say
we'll miss him
we'll miss him
x2

Jazz song:
I'm going on the road to Indiana
when I stop by and ...

I hardly remember it, cuz the lyrics went by too quickly. Quicker than rap. Jazz also seems to have crappy beginnings and endings. It's as if the music switch was turned on for a while, then it was turned off again at the "end" of the song. It's like ending Know Your Enemy after Keenan's voice.

In conclusion: I hate jazz because of the overall. Once again, you may as well just talk during the song, cuz that's what jazz seems like. Those that sing in it may have good voices, but I simply think that those voices could use their talent on something else, maybe rock, or if they're more mellow, on folk-music.
