But what SADLK might be saying reflects what you just said: that the DOJ minions don't prosecute interrogators and "law enforcement" for their human rights abuses. Just because Iraqis aren't technically within the jurisdiction of the U.S. Constitution doesn't mean that they should be deprived of their basic Miranda rights, Fifth Amendment rights (whatever the Iraqi equivalent may be), and so on. It's your basic human rights vs. legal rights issue. If the American law enforcement representatives over there believe in the U.S. Constitution, why are they outright ignoring it in Iraq?
