I just went to go edit one of my posts and the edit button was simply.......gone. *GASP* can someone fix this?

I did. It came back about an hour later. Maybe I have mad cow disease. Naw, I didn't eat the cheeseburger.

Yeah, no crap. I'm looking at my post in this thread and the edit feature is just gone. What's going on?

Now I'm looking at the post above, which I can edit my post above that I cannot. I'm so confused.
