I recently saw this movie again, and I goddamn love it. Some of the special effects were a bit meeeeeeh, and a few actors were sub-par, but the story is pretty good, and John Leguizamo is hilarious as the clown. It was one of the first movie's to start the comic-book adaption craze, and its one of the few that did a good job, I think. The only issue I have with this movie is in some parts where they could have justified using excessive gore, they didn't, so they could lower the rating. Still a good movie.

Yea, like I said, some of the acting was iffy, but the badassness of the movie balances that out

It sounds like I don't want to after reading this thread!! Nah, I always thought it looked like your typical b-grade comicbook convert film to me. Besides, around the time this movie came out, so did The Phantom... and that was fucking terrible!!

Go watch it now. It's a real fun movie. Nice special effects, tollerable acting, funny at times. GO NOW GOGOGO.
