Blockbuster censors some of the films that they rent out, and for some reason they dont have to inform the customer of this. My friend used to work for Artisan which has the distribution rights to Requiem told me that Blockbuster wouldnt buy it unless they were allowed to cut a few scenes from the film. This was back when Hollywood Video wasnt the huge chain that it is today, and companies were basically forced into this type of agreement or they would face severe losses. Its an atrocity that they can get away with that. Not to mention that last I heard they are owned by Viacom which also owns MTV, among other stations.
So it would be best if you rented your movies from a place like Netflix. Even better would be your local independent Video Rental store. It may cost more but at least you arent promoting censorship without knowing it, and the money stays within your local community.
