Well I wanted to hear some people's thoughts on the issue of Audioslave.

I haven't heard Audioslave. I only heard that it kinda sucked, and that there was only one song that had the RATM Tom Morello in it.
Audioslave has the whole RATM band minus Zack. Tim, Tom, Brad, and Chris Cornell for Soundgarden.
Their music doesnt suck... I kinda like a couple songs but I want to know wether poeple think that the band abandoned Zack or sold out.

i dont get it. where does tom morello being a hypocrit or not fit into whether audioslave sucks or not?
I like the sound of Audioslave but I think they should not have signed with epic.
I think it makes Toms political message look wishy-washy.

Rage was with epic. ZDLR is rumored to be with epic.
If anything, Audioslave should free him from his political paradox. Audioslave has no political message.
audioslave sucks. I bought their album in summer and I listened all songs just one time and then no more. there's no power... the sound is so different of rage's sound. I'm missing zack's powerful voice. yeah Zack's voice! Rage without zack?!? what the fuck is that???? that's "audioslave"... how much I HATE it! I can't hear the drums and the guitars of them without thinkin' at Zack! Zack, zack, zack! Zack was the best in rage and you see rage without Zack (audioslave) doesn't work
Without a political message Tom has no excuse as to why he is on epic. Its like he's saying that its ok to give in a little. 
Zack has a excuse and a pretty good one! He is still creating propaganda within the system that he wishes to destroy.

Zack is using the publicity to tell people his political views. "Hijacking" the mainsteam to spew political propaganda.
Tom who is a self proclaimed commie is using the publicity to make money. I know people say that he just loves to make music and I understand but that is no excuse. Its like an abolishionist saying I hate salvery but I have to use the system because I love to make music. Tom should have make his own company and used it as an example for his political views.

yeah because zack's all over the place spreading his view.
tom, tim, and brad probably wouldnt have been allowed to release any new music unless it was under the epic label. also cornell had 2 rules in order to join them, one of them was no political lyrics i dont remember what the other was.
i dont think tom is hypocrite for making music on a major label, at least not a blatant hypocrite although i can definately understand someones confusion over tom.tim.brad's choice to be a part of band without a poltical message. but, thats the sort of criticism you set yourself up for once you vehemently voice such a strong opinion. the rage members are seen in a different light to the point where what they wear, where they eat and what they buy can be turned against them

i think zack definately chose to leave, but i dont like the idea of the band without him
