i really do appreciate how much effort you put into this website and everything you do to make our lives easier but .... the wmv format probably doesnt bother you because maybe you got them as .mpeg? and dont have to watch it in the most unbearable format known to man


so i was kinda hoping, and im not sure if pple agree with me, but i would personally rather do the longer download to watch something that doesnt delay horribly and ruin the video with poor colour before it even starts

so whether you change the current videos because it would be too much hassle.. then that doesnt bother me the slightest but with new installments it would be absolutely great if they didnt come in a wmv format
go ahead with it or not - please consider it :/

all of the wmv formats.. like all woodstock (apart from no shelter because i got it as an mpeg) and especially the war within a breath vid

The War within a breath video is an exception, the mpeg was already choppy. The others I personally ripped to .wmv, they don't lag at all here. Also, their color is exactly as the mpeg it came from(I'll post twin pics of both formats once I get premiere up and running again). It's a good compromise in space saving(I get charged for the bandwidth), and for those with slow connection. I don't see where you get the "unbearable" from?

I dont visit the multimedia page cuz its no use to me cuz my home comp blows but remember those 4 vids from Artistdirect.com that has Tom talking about thier trip to Tokoy, Irael, some other place, and about the Mumia protest in Phili, and about the Renegades album. Whatchutalking about D? Oh I just rememerbred those right now and they are pretty cool

well the rest are 'watchable'.. and i know that my comp isnt too crash hot but i think a 1.6ghz with a gforce 2 vid card (as crappy as the vid card is) would be suitable enough to turn anything into gold. but with the wmv formats theres about a 3 second delay between the voice and the movements... so watching it gets very annoying. i know i sound like a little woman but bleh...

I think the vast file size reduction more than makes up for the little quality difference.

btw, my comp is 600mhz...less than 1ghz, and a first gen radeon video card. The video still looks great.

ok..maybe its just me...im sure its just me, most of the time it is , but i see no diff in the pictures, and the War Within A Breath video doesnt have any delays or anything, it looks a lil dark but then agian my monitor sucks...i need a new one but everything is good here .
Cosmic, i have a question, are you gonna do the rotating videos thingy?? and if so, how often are they gonna be rotated?

Once people have had their fill on these, I'll rotate. Maybe one more week, then the rest of the Woodstock vids. So it's officially last call for the January rotation!

Well personally, I'd really like to find ANY of the Big Day Out festival videos from '96... keep an eye out for me... but I'm not buying any dodgy bootleg tapes from Italy ok?!?!?!
