Just a topic here to lighten up this board (been looking a little down as of late)
Well I believe Zack would be proud to call me a fan of his music and poetry because I see the world for what it is and I'm aware of all he corruption in his world and I try to do my part whenever it comes I being an activist

Cause I always buy whatever he puts out... LOL Maybe it's the detailed breaking down of his lyrics we discuss and argue about he enjoys?

Because I have been a fan for seven years now. And even though I missed out...due to my age, religious upbringings, and environment, I can still appreciate what RATM did as a band, and how incredible he is a lyricist, and how he moves me in ways unimaginable. I also have discussions about his lyrics, and debate the meanings of them. And whenever I didn't know a word he used, or didn't know exactly for sure, the historical references...I'd do my research, so that I would understand. And today, I know more.
...and I had a crush on him since I was 12. BUT I doubt he'd be proud of that part. Hahaha! What's to be proud of?

I have appreciated his work for the past 15 years and don't see my self ever giving up regardless of the direction life has led me in.
same like Ragetta, I have struggled to make myself a more enlightened person by understanding his lyrics and poetry.
words can't express they way he moves me.
Those 7 long, empty years were the hardest! Only this page helped alot of us see it through! lol!
I belive Allah creates certain people for certain reasons.
The soul that Zack de La Rocha Posesses is a special one.
Long Live De La Rocha!

I was raised in a very conservative household in a small town where bigotry and a small world view is the norm. Everyone here flies thier confederate flag and blasts country music with a repulsive uber-nationalistic message, and I think that Zack would be happy that I didn't follow the cookie-cutter mold. Rather than following my political upbringing i was familiar with, I chose not to be a sheep and allowed Zack's lyrics, poetry and activism really speak to me. (which is not always easy, it takes some deciphering and research.... but I'm a history student, it's second nature) I'm not a Rage fan that only likes the cool guitar riffs and loud music, but actually understands the point of their music.
.... Besides that, he's a freaking cutie pie and ummm......yeah I'll stop there

VIVA DE LA ROCHA!!!!

There's a lyric that Zack uses in the first Rage Album.
and I quote "Back into 92 still in a room without a view, you gotta know,
you gotta know, and when I say go, go ,go!"
If you can tell me the person Zack is referring to in the room, I'll tell you more.
