if you like femi, you'd probably like his little brother, seun kuti, who is considered to be more talented. he travels with his late dad's band, egypt 80. seun & egypt 80 had a free show out here in l.a. months ago, but car troubles kept me back, otherwise i would have richard t davis'ed it with time. bah. then they had a gig at the el rey and i think that sold out.
