Now that the excitement of March of Death has passed, how do you rate it?

The excitement hasn't completely passed for me. I'm still hoping for a video

-I gave it a 7... gets points for that beat..his energy, attitude, & 1 or 2 quotables.
Loses points for the overall lyrics not being as good as some ratm songs have been.

I'd probably give "Centre of the Storm" an 8.

lastly, at the end of the poll to get a true result subtract 1-2 points
because obviously this board is biased towards zack.

True. The problem is because I know I'm likely to be biased, I had a problem the 'reverse' way: I was thinking shall I give it less just because I'm probably not as objective as I would normally be. Anyway, made up my mind and voted!

The song is good, but sadly its not Rage. You sort of listen to Zack's voice and expect to hear that distinguishable Rage sound that we've all heard before. Its the same with audioslave, you hear that sound and you expect to hear Zack come in with his fierce voice but it never does. I guess it leaves you hanging but overall I'd give it a 7.

Please, don't subtract any points cosmic. People are giving their honest opinions.

I gave it a 7 because I like its powerful impact and energy... but yeah, as soon as I heard it I thought a guitar sound was missing . Still, it's good to see the rage's still all there, and to hear Zack's voice again

It wil take a while for those that were just getting into rage to really appreciate this album when it comes out. Its like when every band has a new album come out it takes a while to get into the songs b/c your still down with the old shit. Its all good. You all will singing a diff story once the album comes out. I have it a 10.

-I'm a big enough fan of ZDLR that i go to great lengths to be honest about his material & take off my rosy-colored glasses when i judge his work. Zack himself admits to being extremely critical.

And the truth is those lyrics weren't nearly as impressive as Centre of THe Storm or others have been; so it loses points for that. THe sonics are fucking excellent..and I'm sure it wasnt just Shadow that came up with them as articles depict zack working closely with him on the samples, etc. There's maybe only 5 to 10 songs that I've ever heard in my whole life that I would give a 10 too...so i dont hand that out sparingly.

Subtracting points wasnt a literal request to Cosmic but a reminder to everyone that when ur on bands website, and u take a poll on something done by that band, no matter what.. most answers are going to be biased in favor of the act.. or people wouldn't be on his site in the first place. So if u want to approach a result closer to the truth you simply have to do that.

Sorry das for misunderstanding you. I'm still adjusting to fact that you're actually communicating with text. But to answer your question, smilies can have 5 fingers. They can have as many fingers as the person who creates them wants to give. They're not real people. Just animated drawings.

Its true, when you first start listening to new stuff you have to get use to it before you start enjoying it. For Zack's new stuff you have to get use to the fact that Tom, Tim, and Brad won't come in at the start of his songs ( at least for me).
