my dad had this book in our basement, and he had only read half of it, but he said it was good, he just never finished it, and i had been lookin for a new, and its been given the name of "best war novel of all time."
and shit it's good, i was up til 12 last night reading it for 2 hours, its about WWI, from a germans point of veiw, very descriptive, very very gruesome, describes what the war was really like, all the vets that read it said it's the only book that really described the war
i highly suggest it
