There's a Freedom March currently going on against what is now called the Apartheid Wall in Palestine. Got a friend who went to Palestine and joined the march on 1st August. The march began on Friday, July 30 in Zububah and I believe will end in Jerusalem (it will last 21 days). People from different countries, including Palestinians and Israelis are walking around 10-12 kilometres everyday along the wall. For those interested, more official info. can be obtained on

The march was organised by the International Solidarity Movement, a movement favouring what they call non violent direct action, and it's made of Palestinian and international activists. I've heard of the P10K Force - I don't think they were involved.

i saw this picture of the wall with a few people in front of it in newsweek... the scale of it is whats most ridiculous to me.. it looked at least two and a half times taller than what the berlin wall was..
