no no no rage babe, i know you're cool

i was picking it up in the post before yours saying how she lived in a white neihborhood and thats where she got it. i took that as a shot at all white people. i just see it as blaming all white people for something. we're not all raging assholes. and i'm sure white people aren't the only ones responsible for this.

my post wasn't directed at you rage babe. at all. i knew what you we saying.
we're totally cool.

like i said, i know it exists, coz racism exists, but i dont know anyone or know of anyone who thinks like that...

think about it.....a very elitist part of Orange County.....people there are VERY close-minded. At least from my own experience that racist crap came mostly from white people........ wacko.gif

NZ is much different from the U.S. I think people there are more tolerant since it is neighboring Indonesia and Southeast Asian island nations.....right? unsure.gif

yeah we are much more tolerent, but the asian minority is the most hated minority in NZ, and even then, i havent heard those sexual stereotypes.

interesting......hmm.gif
Then maybe it's mostly an American thing...????????????

Just that whole mail-order bride human sex trade issue really really irks me. That in itself is a remnant of imperialism cry.gif
I know for a fact in Japan racism against Southeast Asians (especially Filipinos) is bad there........I've learned from experience.

I was there in Japan in 1999, just sitting at a get-together with my host family. A Japanese sansei (third generation) from Hawaii had the nerve to say, "There's Filipinos here too....they happen to make the best domestic servants, don't they?"

WHO THE FACK SAYS THAT?~??!??!?!!?!??!! zmat2.gif

so it's not really a "White" thing, coz russians are white too?

i dont have a problem with filipinos working as housemaids, as long as they r being paid well and are treated well. we had a housemaid and she was from the phillipines, she worked as that coz her family was poor. she was in her twinties when we first hired her, she lived with us and stayed with us, we paid her well and treated her well too, so i see nothing wrong with that. to me it's a job, like being a janitor or a secretary. i liked her, she was so cool and fun to talk to...

I posted about this type of stuff back at TM. It seems like everyone uses white people as a scapegoat, and they forget to realize that we are people with feelings too. Racism goes both ways, I dont appreciate people labeling my race as a bunch of bigots who exploit people with wealth. Let me tell you, were not all rich. And were not all racists. We have feelings too, and generalizations always hurt.

i personally believe that prejudice goes both ways, and i do believe that buttercup makes a generlisation here...and buttercup, i have read some of ur posts in the past in reference to other filipinos and some of them do sound prejudice and so in my view, it's unfair to claim that the prejudice comes mostly from caucasian people, when clearly it comes from all ethnic groups.

the sex trade is a huge problem, but it's a problem for all ethinic groups, not just one, and in my view, it's not fair to place the blame on caucasian participants in this act, when there are people on the other side who are trading those women and children, i mean surely that must be addressed too.

buttercup, not many whites are willing to go purchase a bride. wealth doesnt always equal horney racist bastards.

very true. sure our race might have done a lot of bad things, but so have a lot of other races too. and i sure as hell don't blame a whole group or race for something a few people might have done. me and holter are about as white as they come, but we're both real good people. and you never differentiate between a certain group of white people and white people in general. its alway white people are the problem.
