If we all put our heads together and form ideas in this thread, and then most importantly ACT on them...I believe we could get Zack back with Tom, Tim and Brad for Rage.
Too long we (including me) have been bitching and moaning about how we miss Rage etc etc. Well let's really do something. These guys are only human. We can talk some sense into them, surely? Why are we sitting on our hands and doing nothing?? Has Zack taught us nothing?? no you cant. what we will get them back together is poor album sales driving audioslave to break up and zack having poor sales leading him to question himself if he made the wrong decision. also it will take them both still wanting to make music in order to get back together. but audioslave's next album is sure to do well, sales wise at least, and zacks album is sure to sell many records on people's curiosity alone. so if they are to get back together it wont happen for a long time and by then rage fans will be over the breakup and not really make much noise for a reunion. in closing, RATM is done for good. --------------------  |

yes, that's why we can't just sit around and hope for anything else. That was my damn point!!!!!! We have to come up with something. Does anyone know where Zack hangs out in L.A? Surely we could get to chat with him. So here's what I want;
people in the L.A region make some noise. Try to get info on Zack's day to day whereabouts. Other people in U.S need to keep track of Tom Morello as the Nightwatchmen or in Audioslave and talk some sense into him. We need contact addresses of them including people like Rick Rubin etc. People in other parts of the world have a vital part to play too. We need people from everywhere writing letters, detailed letters, explaining how important RATM is to them, and exactly why they want them back together. We need to get organised. This shit can happen if we work together...oh man it can happen...

its not gonna happen. audioslave is doing well and zack's working on his shit. i'm sure people would give heartfelt and sincere talks/speeches to zack as to why he should get back with the other members but try seeing it from zacks point of view as to why he left. and lets say you convinced zack to go back do you expect tom,brad,tim to say sure zack let us leave this current band that is doing well and let us get back together so we can get back to our old ways of driving each other crazy. do you expect them to be warm and nice after zack just broke out and left them hanging.

i dont want them to get back together really, they were brilliant, and their music is still relevant today in many ways, however....i think the torch needs to be passed on to a new band(in my view rage was the clash of the 90's), todays youth....and that band will be............my band!(hey getting zack back is pretty ambitious plan, so this is nothing outrageous id say) as soon as it gets up and runnin(so far its only 2 people)

make sure you document your journey to get them back together, so later on you can make lots of money
actually, if you can talk to them thatd be cool, cus then we'd find out a little more about the breakup, theyve always been pretty vague and reserved in describing what happened..... Look at it this way and try to think it through...Zack left the band for obviously a sound, solid reason. Growing apart musically. Getting them back together would most likely produce more of the same differences and mediocre records at best, because nobody's heart is in it like it was before. Don't you think he left because he wanted to do completely different music than what the other three wanted?? Look at Audioslave. He has no desire to jam with them anymore! Not too hard to figure out..
