I voted yes. Its tough to make an arguement that RATM was just another band hypocritically spewing about politics and not really acting on their own beliefs. Just look at what all they accomplished outside the studio. In my mind, they've gone above and beyond defining the 'machine.'

 Absolutely! When the band was at its best~ it had a striking oscillation of strength swirling through and beyond each of them. It was a powerful experience when they came together as one entity; yet remained individually thumped in their almighty. Yea not one of the members could have made ‘the band.’ That’s why I enjoy RATM so much because they were a full fledged band and not just a face with music behind it. They were so much individually. Each of them being unique and eccentrically artistic who come together to create this unimaginably wild creation. Not to mention all those who backed up the band, plus RATM’s audience~ it felt bigger than a football team.
