There is so much good hip-hop out there that a lot of people still don't even know about. So many people are bias to hip-hop because of what they see mostly on the tv and radio. It sucks sad.gif. I'm very open-minded and I listen to all types of things.. Punk.. Ska.. Hip-Hop.. Rock.. Techno/Experimental..

Right now i will say again. Probably the best hiphop label out there right now is a label that still hasn't even gotten to everyones ears. Definitive Jux. Each release has been quality. El-P really did something with this. Respect.

I have like 2 Def Jux mix cd's. They are the best hip-hop collectively out right now.

I must admit, I haven't really gotten into hiphop or rap...
I guess in my defense, I was quite closedminded with my taste in music, prefering the RATM, Tool, incubus, over a "new" kind of music....(new to me, because i had not been exposed to rap apart from RATM...)
In fact the only (rap) shit I was ever exposed to was probably 2pac, and other gangsta shit like that, and I didnt see any real reason to get into that "East side", "West side" bullshit...

Ratm has always appealed to me not only for its music, but also for it's lyrics, much like incubus..., Incubus has a wwaaaayy different style than Ratm, but there is definately some very highly skilled lyric writing involved.., which i appreciate.

After i heard "CIA"or as its also known, "Constructive Rukus", i saw that Zack wasn't the only one who wrote politically.....that exposed a whole new side of hiphop for me..

Now the only problem is getting money, because i read about all of you listening to public enemy, KRS one, etc.
I wouldnt even really know how to begin......, thats my problem.

I can feel them prying, I can feel them prodding,
I can feel them breathing, I can feel them digging
I can feel them stabbing, I can feel them scoping,
I can feel them living, I can feel it, Consume, take in, plunging, plumbing,
Instruments prying, aliens inside me, Tooling the machine, Intoxicating,
Feel it unfolding, riddles in me

Zack really puts a new/old meaning to the music world of Hop-Hop. The only reason i started a band was to scream political jargin as fast as i could in the mic
