In all fairness, I log in as much as I can and I do delete the crap that I encounter, and I set topics to invisible etc etc. But i only mod two forums, so there isn't much I can do about the other forums. And like everyone else says, we do need more mods. It is the nature of the internet and I mean, I recognize the disappointment but... it's just how it goes. I have no idea what happened here either. I wasn't around when cosmic left and when I came back it was like the forum had been abandoned.
If you have the change to spare, it wouldn't hurt to keep it. I don't think it should matter if you don't have as many active users as before. I remember when there were just a few of us and cosmic was going to different sites inviting people to sign up. I think there is still hope for this place. yea we need to get this place up and running! we need to get more topics and fun stuff for people to see and look at and keep it interesting. i know life gets in the way for alot of people. but they still log on once in a while.

this site was a huge part of my life a few years ago... while writing papers, researching, home doing nothing, and even at work, i'd always have this site open. there were always people (i "knew" logged in)... i'd get my mind off of stuff here... just stop by to read interesting conversations... INTELLIGENT conversations... hold side conversations with intelligent members... and add my bit of nonsense to the board with one too many smilies.... it's crazy to go back and read old posts... i'm kinda
 ... it was a different time with different people... different personalities. different times in our lives. different..... people change, people grow apart... new people come in, and they bring what they bring.... i haven't contributed anything in ages but i still stop by every now and then.. but it's like i don't know anybody, and i'm not too interested in what's being said. yea there's a few things, in like the news and current events, that i read, but i don't reply to... but that's about it.... kinda just feeling like the old new kid here... i'd hate to see this site disappear tho....new (active) mods are def necessary at this point..... |

Hey everybody, just thought I´d drop my 2 cents...
I love this site, I´d be sad to see it go! I think it´s ironic what a force this site was - for over 5 years we all discussed topics about an album that now, we know will never see the light of day, Zack is more popular now this decade than ever, and the forum is a mess... One Day As A Lion is the future of ZDLR, Rage is the past. The solo album flunked, but there´s still so much to do with this site!!! imma definitely start posting much more on this forum, cause i really like how people here are very mature. Wish i was here during it's popular days but it can happen again. I run a forum for an artist called B.G. Knocc out. First time around it was VERY large and active but then it crashed, we got it up and running again last month but everyone seems to have disappeared and kinda sux now that it's kinda dead so i feel ya pain.
We need ideas people, if anyone is good at making banners do that and start promoting the site where everwhere, Zack is a popular guy and i think this site can grow very quickly. --------------------  "They say that in war, the truth be the first casualty" |
