Except The Battle of Los Angeles of course. Personally I think it is good they don't have edited cds because it gets the point across more and it shows they have passion in what they say and that the swear words need to be heard. What do you think?

The topic isn't overly clear man. The options aren't very well set out... unsure.gif I've only ever heard of 'censored' album versions in the States anyway, they're really lame! Hopefully Rage have never had Epic do this to them...

Forget what track. It's either Know your enemy or killing in the name of.

But one of the two I just listed above, have no lyrics in the cd booklet of self titled. Anyone ever noticed. Probably every 1. But just checkn. It's gotta be a form of censorship. Why else would they have done it???

P.s. On another random rant. Anyone one read the lyrical translations of the LIVE AND RARE japan version. It's a classic.!

I'll go undecided on this one. I believe that edited CD's do degrade some of the meaning of the music, but I also think that its better to spread the message to kids whose parents will not allow unedited music than not.

we've talked about this before...and I think the conclusion we came to was that they didn't put the lyrics in because they're so repetitive and, frankly, very clear just in listening.

What's interesting is that I don't actually think that Australia actually supplies any censored Music.

You know with the whole bleep out of 'swear' words. What they do over here is place one of those parental advisory stickers on the albumn. And for the albums with ultra hardcore langue and themes they place an age restriction of 18+. Same as drinking.

So I guess when the kiddies turn 18 they can get drunk and throw on some hardcore tunes. Ha HA! laughing.gif
