Now that the excitement of March of Death has passed, how do you rate it?

we admit to being on the side that likes Zack's song
-I like Zack's song.
and think it's the best.
-The best what?
"u r on the side that doesnt think it's the best."
-The poll ranges from 1-10; it isnt 'best' or 'not best'
"the opinion bout a song is a point of view, clearly,"
"it is subjected to so many things, so u can't really be completely objective."
-Because everything affects everything, one can never be 100% completely objective; but there is a consensus or the word & it's meaning wouldn't exist.
"who's to say ur opinion is more objective than ours?"
-Not "who"; but the fact that this board is a zdlr board; and if u come here u are most likely a fan. So Here more so than any other factors; is a clear strong undeniable fact; and that's that people here will lean in zack's favor. They are on his site after all.
"u cannot estbalish a "truth" about a song, not when ur posting an opinion."
-Sure you can; in this case because we have an actual poll; so all you have to do is look at the numbers to quantify this particular opinion. & my argument is not on the song itself, but on who's side the results are OBVIOUSLY going to lead to.
"the truth, the absolute truth would be something like "march of death is an anti war on iraq song, it's a song by Zack De La Rocha and DJ Shadow" here u r stating facts. opinions on the other hand are nto absolute facts."
-That the people on this site like Zack De La Rocha and his work is as much a 'truth' as those above. Nowhere on the song is Iraq specifically mentioned so i can be picky about this like ur being about the other...i can also say we've never seen zack n dj shadow work on the song & we're taking whats written on the site as an assumption that they did.
a dictionary defintion is too rigid anyways."
-This is why we have definitions. So people dont make things up or bend every time they have an 'opinion'.
"and its talking bout objective matters that cannot apply to opinions bout songs."
-Sure it can; we have a poll here; it definetely applies as: "A statistical sampling or testing" ..which by adding the fact that people on this site are zdlr fans leads CLEARLY to: "error caused by systematically favoring some outcomes over others." <--THere is no way to argue against this.
"u are not against Zack, but u are trying to be so objective that really u're just taking another side"
"of course there's a truth, but it's not gonna be ur opinion. "
-It isn't my opinion; it's subtracting from everyones votes because of the obvious overall bias.
