As of right now, its the only concert I have lined up. They'll be here in August. Anybody else seen them? They've done a few interesting covers on their current tour, from old STP songs to Doors to Nirvana. Should be a decent show.
Still hoping Audioslave will come back through Vegas or L.A. later in the year! -------------------- I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid. You're afraid of us, you're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end, I came here to tell you how this is going to begin. Now, I'm going to hang up this phone, and I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries. A world...where anything is possible.
Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you. |

Got the opportunity to go and see them in January, but had to pass it off. Those that I knew that went came back grinning though, should easily be a great gig.

I saw VR when they played on the Jimmy Kimmel show, an outdoor live set, like 5 songs. They were great live, Weiland owns thestage when he is performing. I was hoping VR would be playing Ozzfest this saturday when i go, but i dont think they are gonna make it, too bad.
Im gonna see U2 in vegas this november, and then Skynyrd twice in December in Vegas. That should rock, something is awesome about seeing a show in Vegas, thats where i saw Van HAlen and Audioslave this year. -------------------- ![]() "It is easy to be negative, and much harder to find that silver lining behind the clouds of modern society." - Billy Corgan "everyone there is so damn opinionated yet they won't even listen to whatever anyone else has to say" politics on the left OMG POWER CHORDS ARE TEH BAD EMO! Back from the show, it kicked butt. I was only able to take a handful of pics, my camera gave out on me about halfway through. Security was strict and I was lucky to be even as close as I was. My seats were set for the balcony.
Good setlist, along with Dead & Bloated(STP), Wish You Were Here(Floyd), Its so Easy(GNR) and Mr. Brownstone(GNR- and kicked ass). In the second pic, Weiland had gone down into the crowd and talked about sex and fucking and "here I come, I come" for about 5 minutes. lol Here ya go:
