i was watchin this show and it was about teens and sex. i said that kids as young as 11 are haveing sex. i was like wow. they had a lot of interviews with kids and they know alot more than i ever knew at that age. i was just wondering what ur guys thoughts were on this subject should they be haveing sex or not?

the first tiime one of my friends had sex was in 7th grade, i thought it was way too young, and still do.

Eww that reminds me of last year in the 8th grade my friend, who was in the 7th grade at the time, went to a party that i said no to, and she had sex w/ the host of the party who was annoyingly trying to get w/ me for the past month up until his party. she was 12. it was so gross to hear. yeah, i also know this other girl in one of my classes who's been sexually active since she was 12 also. i think it's just wrong. for little kids to be having sex. Hell i'm 16 and i'm still a virgin but that's just me.

they had a list of all these things that kids at that age have done. i was kind of shock even at my age the imitating thing they see on tv

A lot of kids in my class glorify all types of things...drugs, alcohol, sex...this one girl in my 7th period talks about weed all day. it gets annoying.

It is true that kids are having sex way too early. All I hear these days is youngsters getting pregnant. What do they think that they're invincible and it can't happen to them? Oh, but it does. I swear all the young girls from my home town are out slutting around and they see nothing wrong with it. My group of friends lost their virginity at like 17ish. I never until I was 20. What's the rush right?

Wow, I thought I was young when I had sex for the first time at 14. What's funny is that after that time, I didn't have sex again til I was 17, BECAUSE I was scared of getting pregnant, eventhough I used condoms, there's still that chance. And now at 22, I wish I had waited longer, cause what the hell kind of fun can you have with sex at 14 and 17? Guys don't know what the hell they're doing at that age! (no offense gentlemen) I really don't think kids between the ages of 11-16 have any business having sex.

I've read a Dear Abby column where a mother was asking advice about what to do with her 12-year-old daughter who's on her 2nd pregnancy! I hear a lot of girls menstruate at age 9.....
 That shit....is very creepy. It's like an unwritten law that if you don't get laid by this age.....then something's very wrong with you.... My recommendation? Just wait until you AND your partner are ready. I didn't lose my virginity until recently this year. I'm 21, and I used to think that there was seriously something wrong with me since I didn't lose it at an earlier age like everyone else. I can handle the emotional and physical responsibilities now....

i think its wrong but its hormones isnt it kids carn't help themselves one things for sure though they should use protection for many reasons like pregmancys STIs etc.

well, you can't stop kids from having sex.. Kids will do what they want.. but I think the key is education, people need to stop being prudes and teach these kids about sex.. I read this article.. I'll have to find it.. but you would be amazed at what kids DON'T know about sex.. yet they are having sex. it said that something rediculous.. like, over 50% of teens didn't know you could get HIV/AIDS from oral sex.. now that's just scary... so, yep.. educate!
