I thought this was an excellent film as a look into the life of one of the most daring con artists to ever live- all as a teenager. At first I didn't give it a chance because of the length and I always seemed to start watching in the middle- then I bought the DVD.
Its really worth checking out, if you haven't..that's an order. Note: the movie wouldn't have worked with anyone but Hanks playing Hanratti. Good choice. yeah i saw this when it was in the theaters, i thought it was pretty good, but long. i lost interest in parts, it seemed to drag at times. but overall good, but what do i know i think jedi is better then a new hope

I must admit, I really didn't like this silm. It never seemed to really get going, there wasn't much suspense and I got very bored in parts. Perhaps it's just my special fx bombarded soul that made me feel this way?

hmmm maybe.... my opinion is positive... i really liked it and was very interested throghout the movie. at first i didnt think id enjoy it because of leonardo, but he did well
