I was going to type something that more appropriately expressed my anger at people who disrespect our government so much. But instead I wrote my "God loves you" piece. I didn't mean to offend or "push" anybody to my religion, it was just better for me to write that, than to be(angry) or write something angry. I enjoy RATM, at least the early stuff, purely for the music and energy it puts forward, so that is why I'm here. I don't however, understand how you all pretend to be tolerant of others, yet when someone of another religion shares it with you, I'm somehow pushing it at you, and I get disrespected. Anyway, hypocrisy applied to all people, I guess. God still loves you.

I agree that you should have the right to express your opinion about your religion. However, the reason some people here got annoyed is because you seemed to imply that somehow we were on the wrong track and that the right track is Christianity. Thus, the feeling of you trying to "push your religion". Also, it was clear you thought we were in the wrong somehow because of our political opinions (well, most of us at least) and when now you say you first wanted to say you were angry because of disrespect to the US government, you confirm this yourself. By the way, if that's what you want to say, go on, people can handle this type of thing here. Better that than being condescending and 'tolerantly' wish us well, when honestly I'm not sure you do. And of course, God still loves us, I never personally doubted it. |

But he's already kind of destroyed himself by popping on the board with all this, so if he doesn't discuss anything other than religion spew, then he's going to continue getting bashed. If he wants to preach to me, then I can preach to him with my beliefs.

But his second post has more than double raged me!  There he is saying how we are all hypocrites for pretending to be tolerant of others, yet slam him, but he is doing the exact same thing! The worst types of hypocrites are those that call others hypocrites, yet are hypocrites themselves in exactly the same way. Now THAT is really a hypocrite. Due to his religion, and how hardcore he sounds, I doubt he tolerates anything that goes against the Bible. I know what his defense will be, is that, "oh homosexuals are fine, just so long as they stay away from me" or, "and don't bring up the subject around me", (well if that's the case, then don't bring up the subject about Christianity to non-Christians, who is the hypocrite now?) "and that they don't act on their disgusting lusts." Bottom line is, people like you contribute to the prejudice and silencing of others. So in that case, you are excluded from my list of equality, simply beacause you have lesser opinions of those not like yourself.
