Hello all... I am new to the forum, but I just had to share this video with you. I am a long time reader of this forum, and this video displays one of the greatest days of my life. While at the RNC event "Ripple Effect" (a "beyond partisan" event geared towards anti-war / anti-rnc music lovers) Rage Against the Machine were supposed to play an unannounced show...

Unfortunately the police / SWAT stepped in to stop them from taking the stage. Fortunately enough, we're talking about RATM, and they took to the crowd for a completely surprise ACAPELLA performance of Bulls on Parade and Killing in the Name Of. I was fortunate enough to be right there to capture the footage (only about 4ft away) for the must blog I write for (Above the Fold). Check it out, as it is one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. Enjoy:

Rage Against the Machine Acapella performance at the Ripple Effect // RNC // 09.02.08

The posts includes a few photos, and at the bottom is a 10min video of the one and only performance of its kind. If you have any comments or requests, please feel free to contact me. I'm happy to provide ANYONE with a DL version of the the actual footage (provided that you let me know your purpose, and intend to give credit where credit is due smile.gif

Love and peace

No, we were not there for the protests that followed.
