Have scientists gone too far? IS cloning good for humanity?
How would you feel if you knew that the meat that you ate came from cloned animals? (i'm glad I don't have to worry about that ) but just think about it... CLONING.. is sick period!!

Why has science gone too far with this? It needs to be explored just like anything else..what we can benefit from it, I'm not sure..but it does little harm. If you're talking about a few monkeys getting killed in the process- I hate to say it, but that's the way its always worked, and will continue to work. Would you rather humans be sacrificed for these kinds of experiments? That's just silly. We humans run this planet- not the animals. Granted, sometimes we take horrible actions to get a step ahead, but there's just no other way.
As for the meat coming from a cloned animal? I could care less as long as its well-done! -------------------- I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid. i'm against the cloning of human beings, and that's that. there's no excuse...once we clone humans, we cross the line, questions of ethics, and are they real humans? who'll protect them and their rights, how they gonna be represented legally and so forth, it's problematic. i have to say the idea that we run the planet is just a terrible selfish human notion, we're taking everything round us for granted. we cant forget that this earth wasnt just made for us, we're creatures just like other animals and plants, and we should respect nature, so it doesnt all backfire and so things don't turn messy...not that they arent at this point, but damn it can get worse  as for cloning of animals and plants, the way i see it is, if they're gonna clone them for pharmacutical and medecinal purposes, in ways to find cure for human and animal and plant diseases, then that would be ok by me. i wouldnt want to eat a cloned animal, just because i believe that our bodies are used to certain foods and eating clonned stuff, i dont know...it's just as bad as eating genetically modified food. which brings me to my last point...i'm much more worried bout Genetic Engineering than cloning.

I TOTALLY AGREE! what if a certain type of kid becomes "in style", say, one year most of em has black air and green eyes, and the next blonds with brown ones are popular... it's crazy! -------------------- revolution is impossible if the majority isn't for it. first we need to make them realize.

I don't belive that it would be at all as bad as eating genetically modified food because they aren't modified, just copied. They would act, taste and have the same nutrition that the original animal had, so if your ok with eating the frist animal there should be nothing wrong with eating it's clone. I don't belive in cloning how ever. (will post reasons later) -------------------- -No.41

Cloning is so stupid. I remember a song lyrics. You can make a life, but you cant save it, you can make a clone then you try to enslave, Stealing DNA samples from the unborn, then your coming after us cause we sample the James Brown Horn. Nar just did an assignment on cloning. It is really messed up. Its just one of those things i belive is just flat out wrong and the cons far outweigh the pros.
