This video is more of the band playing live; however, it is an actual performance in its entirety. It takes place in a weird warehouse, with equipment lying around and sound guys doing stuff; Zack jumps between two rows of lights the entire time. The video's sound is the actual performance, as opposed to a dub of the album track like most videos. It was likely made before the first album was released. In the words of Tom: "The tour bus pulled up in front of the BBC studio, we ran through the song once in front of the cameras, then left to play a club that night." Info from here -------------------- "Do not be afraid of death so much as an inadequate life” - Bertolt Brecht
"I don't listen to what art critics say. I don't know anybody who needs a critic to find out what art is." - Jean-Michel Basquiat |

I voted for the self titled
Oh and WTF? Okay, like on BOMC and at the GOA there are parts that are censored! Fuckin, in BOMC Guerilla Radio seems to have Fuck and Shit removed and in GOA the How I could just killa a man video is censored and when his mom is talking they censor her "best band in the fucking universe" thing. Whoa, that is a very disoriented paragraph of fragments and obscurty, but I do beleive you get the jist of it... -J This post has been edited by Jingle: Apr 8 2004, 05:43 PM |

Somebody else said that, too. Mine aren't censored... -------------------- I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid. You're afraid of us, you're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end, I came here to tell you how this is going to begin. Now, I'm going to hang up this phone, and I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries. A world...where anything is possible.
Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you. |

Thats awesome, I didnt know any of that. I always liked this video too, from the original performance to the early feel of it. No crazy camera movements either...just a plain flowing performance. |

I picked GOA, then promptly nulled my vote (accident!)
I wish Battle of Mexico city had the BOLA music videos on it... I have self titled and Evil Empire videos with the self titled DVD, and I have How I could Just Kill a man (Great video by the way) and Bombtrack on GOA.. But I don't have Guerrilla Radio, Sleep Now in the Fire, or Testify!! I mean, it's just not the same watching them on your computer. =/ The first one is great, but I wish they had...whole shows. CLips from a bunch of shows is alright. I wish they released an official woodstock DVD of just rage. Im sure we've all seen the infamous "Bulls on Parade" video from HBO, but a full DVD woulda been nice. . . EDIT: Oh, I think BOMC...in guerrilla radio, he just didn't say 'Fuck' or 'Shit' he just kinda goes... 'Fuh!' and "SH!" Not sure why. My Kill a man video is bleeped, and has black boxes for the PMRC protest. Again,, not coplaining about tha tlast part, but it does seem kind of odd. I think, thats the version they play on MTV and stuff. This post has been edited by Grimer 54: Apr 23 2004, 07:58 AM -------------------- This is the FiFTY-FOUR effect: (the loveable nemesis)
QUOTE(Grimer 54) Society begets government. Anarchist theory is actually just a pseudo-intellectual state of denial, an idealistic illusion that can never be more than a wholly unfulfilled dream. Thus, it is a counter-productive measure that actually weakens, rather than improves the progress of society as government is inevitable in the maintenance of civilization. Therefore, it is infinitely more effective to pursue political upheaval through the system, rather then against the system. For despite all of its flaws, both Democracy and Capitalism are still rooted within the people themselves by rational and realistic means. That is not to say I advocate the status quo, but instead, a moral pursuit to right the endless wrongs brought on by the evils of human nature, via an unintimidated, undaunted, unmitigated spirit of liberty and justice for all, rather then the destructive hypocrisy of your so-called "revolution." "I may disagree with what you have to say, but I will defend, to the death, your right to say it". - attributed to Voltaire Still a sheltered idealist... but learning: This is no Oasis. |

Yeah, me too. That show is just fantastic! Im trying to get the whole concert to my computer (4 videos this far) and make a real concert of them. Yeah, not the same as a DVD, but... -------------------- "It's not a war, it's a campaign. Freedom can be bought, it's a brandname."

yeah it does defeat the purpose but in a way it sort of proves her point as well -------------------- Whenever people agree with me I always feel I must be wrong.
